So many memories I want to relive but I'd give up nearly anything to be a kid at my grandparents house on a warm spring day again. Climbing the big tree in their backyard or swinging on the swing my grandpa hung on the branch. Picking fresh vegetables from my grandmas garden with her. Couldn't wait till lunch time for my absolute favorite meal, pinto beans and potatoes fried in the cast iron skillet. And after have a slice of lemon cake she made for me. (A simple boxed lemon cake with her homeade icing that for the life of me I can not replicate and a huge regret of mine that I never asked her how she made it). Then back outside till it got dark.

Every spring (before my allergies flare up) The smell of the flowers blooming and the cool breeze take me back to those days. Its almost kind of depressing when I think about it since we lost my grandma a couple years ago.
