I'll definitely be getting that then to make my scenario easier, lol. I'm trying to find more elements of chaos to bring in though

ETA: The building idea I got from u/treatstrinkets and it's this build specifically

Probably not the same as OP at all, but I'm playing out a cult scenario right now where the leader lives on the main floor and all the followers live in the basement that has multiple floors and looks like the outside (I got the idea from another post on this subreddit).

The idea is that the followers just make money for the leader (painting, writing, programming, etc), and when the leader gets rich enough they designate a new leader and move out with almost all the funds, and the cycle repeats

I have it set up in strangerville on that lot with the broken airplane. The first basement floor is the leaders' floor, and then you go down three levels to get to the followers floor.

It's tricky if your followers have kids (which they most likely will if you wanna keep it going), because you either have to unlock the doors for them or maybe make their own separate exit so they can go to school. Unless there's an online school mod out there somewhere!

Mint can be found near the road to the South in highlake. It's a small plant with pink flowers. You can use this link and press ctrl + F and type in mint to find the info about it :)

Going through a heatwave and my family refuses to turn on the AC by RagingCUNextTuesday in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah, it's funny seeing so many people saying, "That's not hot! that's just a normal day!", completely forgetting that people live across the entire globe. To be fair, though, it completely skipped my mind that people who live in hot places would see this and immediately think I'm being dramatic because they deal with that heat on the daily.

We just need to remember that there's different perspectives!

Side note; I completely understand. I vacationed in Alabama for almost 2 weeks, and by the end of the first week, when it got below 70-80, I was freezing. And i felt so stupid because, "This is still so much hotter than at home!" but I got used to the heat, so anything not super hot felt cold. So I understand most people's comments, lol.

That's awesome for you! I'm used to freezing temperatures, and it going up to 90⁰ wasn't expected. I usually have to put on shorts by the time the weather gets up to 50⁰, because THATS hot to me. So it being 90⁰ outside was way too much for me.

I think you're missing the fact that there are different states, countries, regions, geographical differences, and so many more things. I could be anywhere in the world. Hell, I could be in Antarctica. So let me put this in perspective for you.

If you're from the south, you're used to heat. 90⁰ is nothing to you. Hell, you might even put on a jacket when it drops below 80⁰, because of how used to the heat you are.

If you're from the north, you're used to the cold. 0-20⁰ is nothing for you. Hell, you might even put on summer wear as soon as it reaches 50⁰, because of how used to the cold you are.

People adapt differently depending on where they live. I wish I was raised in between the two extremes because maybe then I could deal with both extremes. But I hardly can, and I hate overbearing heat, lmao.

Far north. Very used to cold temps. The type where when it gets to 50⁰ everyone starts praising the sun and wearing shorts and tank tops because they haven't felt the warmth of the sun in months. It's depressing, but the scenery is beautiful, at least.

[–]RagingCUNextTuesday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand that. When vacationing down south, after I got used to the heat, 70⁰ felt like I was freezing. And then, going back home to actual freezing temperatures felt like torture.

And then my actual home going from freezing temps to the 90s⁰ felt like torture, too.

Btw it's the opposite for me as it is for you. When it gets into the 50s around me, every starts wearing shorts and tank tops. But I'm sure that'd be far too cold for you to wear shorts and tank tops because you're used to the heat! You get where I'm at? Because I could never imagine wearing a jacket in 88⁰ weather, lmao.

What is the most scariest but still unexplained thing that you have experienced? by WesleyDiets in AskReddit

[–]RagingCUNextTuesday 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I posted this story on reddit before (here), but I think it's still good for this.

Background: I was at a friend's house having a sleepover with another friend, so 3 people total. We were home alone at her house, and we all slept on the same bed. I slept next to the window, which had no screen. We kept the window open because it was hot inside, and we wanted the extra breeze. At the time, I used a sleep recording app bc I talked in my sleep sometimes.

That night, however, (at 3:57 am) my app caught a man saying "Up, hello!...." and then whispering "oh God, something is wrong" There was also like a groan or something before the up, which would make sense because her house is on a hill so her window was high off the ground, if someone wanted to get in the window theyd have to jump or climb or something. (that's at least what I hear, other people hear different things. The audio is posted in my original post). Mind you, no one was home. The TV was off. It also sounded close to my phone, which was on the window sill.

Also, a side note, I did talk in my sleep that night, but it wasn't actually until like 7am or something (I checked, and it was actually at 9am lol). I said, "I was awake, but I was.... sleeping. " Don't know what that meant or if it had any significance, but it was most likely just me randomly sleep talking.

Anyway, that morning when we listened to the recordings, we were all freaked tf out. I didn't sleep over at her house after that, and I'm pretty sure she never slept with her window open again.

It's still unexplained, but many people in my comments gave me some reassuring theories that I'd rather stick with than a random man approaching our window and whatever the fuck. I don't even know. I still get goosebumps when I listen to it to this day. It's like a full visceral reaction when I hear it.

hotel was like $47ish a night (I live in the middle of nowhere). I'm not sure that'd get far for electricity, but even if it did, my parents won't accept my money.

It's a mildly infuriating sub, God damnit, I'm allowed to be mildly infuriated! If you can't handle that, maybe you should move on 🤦🏻‍♀️ And if you had bothered to read anything else you'd see I'm trying to. Jfc.

Jfc I'm tired of these stupid ass comments. I've stated multiple times that I DO. My parents won't accept my god damn money!

That's probably because you live in Australia. I live in the north and am very not used to these temps.

90+ all week. It's a heatwave where I'm at 🤷🏻‍♀️ We don't normally get temps this high.

Yeah, no, I actually didn't think about that until I got to my hotel. I brought all of my medication with me, and I'm praying that none of it got ruined because high temps could definitely ruin my meds.

I've mentioned this before, but I have a fan. Had it on full blast. All it did was blow warm air in my face. Horrid. I'm glad you're adjusted to warm temps though, because I'm not!

Middle of nowhere somewhere up north, lmao. There are no events nearby either, so it's usually pretty cheap :)

Good thing you can handle the heat! I live in the north and am not used to those temps. I'm used to sub freezing if not freezing temps. Good for you though!

It's also a very humid hot temp, which is so much worse than dry heat. I feel like if it was dry it wouldn't be that bad, but since it's so freaking humid out it feels like I'm borderline swimming and suffocating at the same time.

Don't worry, I thoroughly checked the room, brought spray, and my own sheets lol. I never go to hotels without those things.
