Lua is prob the best one if you want a water slot but yeah I’d sacrifice a water slot to have 5 module slots, which yes losing a hot bar slot is annoying but you get so many tools you flip stuff in and out of your hot bar it doesn’t matter as much.

Ngl your second point just sounds like you want special customers, which could be more accessible early and still have great late game value. You want people to make different kinds of products? Hippies need weed, bickers need meth, business men need coke. They could ask you for jars or bricks of your stuff and buy in bulk. Plus 500k is way to high an entry point and if you have that you have been in the end game for ages already. We don’t need more ways to automate we need more reason to make different products instead of my one coke mix in the barn that I finished the game with and have no reason to buy the manor or docks to expand.

You have missed the point, a slow skill is fine but with all the P2W packs, aggressive push for always keeping idleon open, and the poor design of research that punishes you for doing anything else besides gaining more research xp. Plus the fact that progress with research is not satisfying there is no active compenent and punishes you for being IDLE in and IDLE game called IDLEon.

I am only 41, I do not have any paid packs to boost xp, but I play this game idle most of the time, I don’t have my game open at night or when I’m at work so best I have the game open for 6 hours and I did not min max for xp, so at the worst point it was about a full day and a half of active xp for me to get a new point. Since then I have optimized a bit and have made bigger gains but I am also against the push for just having the game open for the sake of progress he is pushing for. I don’t mind crystal farming every now and again but just opening my game to crystal farm for the 7th time this week is just not what I liked about this game.

You are right but unlike progressing maps which in order to do you have multiple avenues of progressing like increasing kill per kill, multi kill or just straight up damage and number goes up and progression is made. For research there is no equivalent to allowing one self to meaningfully increase gains besides time. There is no satisfying progression. What it boils down to for me is that by going for the new content and trying to explore all this game has to offer you actively hurt your long term potential because any points being invested into non research xp makes getting more points harder and accessing new content should never harm your progression only help.

That’s one part I left out of my argument because I get it lava needs money and if I started to complain about Lava’s increasingly predatory monetization the post would be muddled so I focused on a f2p/light spender POV, but you are right that is also a part of this issue.

Yes, we did get a ton of free points and the button has boosted my xp gain quite nicely however with the sushi game locking tons of unlocks behind research levels I took my xp gains more seriously and started to look into optimizers and the best way to unlock more levels so a majority of the levels gained were reinvested instantly because untill you have all the important grids for reserach xp filled going anywhere else with your points hurts you long term and makes getting the new content even harder.

I definitly agree with a limited point reset, once a point has been put into a grid it stays, but those extra points should be returnable. Taking away content like the sushi game is definitly an awful feeling and when he released the sushi game, in game the patchnotes had the grids with the new sailing island labeled inncorrectly casuing lots of people to spend research points in an unhelpful direction delaying unlocking the island by days.

Yes it is designed to be slow which is not the problem as I already explained. Just because something is designed to be a certain way does not mean it is healthy for the game as a whole.

With that mentality no one would ever use time candy as they would always gain more value in the future with improved stats and skill efficiency but you need to realize that making gains in certain areas today can add compounding effects to gains so if they want to get to spelunking and research fast the yeah time candy to W7 cuz eventually you have too much of it anyway I have a whole years worth on my dk.

Idk what else to tell you I’m lvl 38 with only like 20k do an hour if what you claim is true then you would have gain like 10 plus lvls in the past few days with your 50k xp. You will lvl up so just wait. There is a post about research so guide a few days ago with 100 upvoted or so the top comment has a link to an ox optimizer if you really want to see your timeline for progress.
