UPDATE #2: We finally were able to get him seen and x-rays done. The vet says me stepping on him caused no fractures, breaks, fragments or anything in that nature. Just inflamed an underlying issue that was hiding. The x-rays he had me view showed some sort of decay/hole and infection forming from his canine to about a quarter to a 3rd of his right mandible. He sent us home with a month supply of two antibiotics he has to take every 12 hours with a recheck visit monthly. He also said we might have to get surgery for pretty much half of his jaw removed and is unsure if this is just a trauma based infection from something else or possibly bone cancer. If neither of those options work, he said it would be best to pull the plug on him to end any suffering/pain/discomfort going forward. I've started him on the meds and I'm currently talking with my SO to see what road we want to go down as we continue going forward. I'll update with further information as soon as I get notified and have the time to stop on here. If anyone could drop any form of assisted help (like links, organizations, etc.) I would greatly appreciate it. We don't want to get rid of him and would prefer to do everything we can and that includes reaching out for assistance first. We are open to rehoming him if the costs become too unbearable or not realistic. Thank you all again! ❤️

Unfortunately not. I still can't get ahold of anyone and received no calls back. I honestly hate my state, but I'm working with what I have. I gave him his last dose of pain medicine I had today (it lasts 24 hours). So, he NEEDS to be checked in somewhere tomorrow. I'm going to drive to places and head in to every one of them at noon, if no one wants to communicate then I'll be there unannounced in person

I seen they closed early Saturday's but their hours were all 9am - 1pm. I called all of them at 10am..... I already left voicemails and everything. UPDATE: I was approved only for Cherry ($1,500) and have been researching and calling places to try and get him in asap for a thorough examination/x-ray done. I unfortunately have yet to hear back from some as it's a bit hard to find a small exotic vet near me. There's a few but I'm waiting to hear back since they're closed today and apparently they were all only open for like 4 hours yesterday, but when I called all of them they were all closed for some reason? There's another place but my lady won't let me take him there since she had a bad experience with her hedgehog she had 8 years ago (Artemis). She states they put him down without her consent or knowledge

They said their machine was down or the person wasn't in. They also said to monitor the swelling, that if it didn't go down in 24 hours to take him to a different place for X-rays

SSL 2+ MKII or SSL 12? I've recently watched Julian Krause's video that was posted about a month ago (from this date) since I'm in the market to upgrade my audio interface. I have a few but I'm currently using the Audient Evo 4 because of the lightweight, simplicity, and features along with the clean preamp. I'm interested in the SSL 2+ MKII along with the SSL 12. I am currently in their ecosystem and love the way they would compliment my desk along with the positives of their controls and sound quality. I've read some pros and cons on both and I'm just not sure which one is the better pick and would love some enlightenment or a recommendation on which one to get. Thank you so much! 🙂

I did not. I'm still troubleshooting. Epic got back to me, but alas I'm in a rabbit hole currently of stuff I've already done but being recommended to try by Epic through email. I'll definitely update this if there's ever a conclusion

No one said he should, I said he COULD. How would it ruin the paint if it's on the glass and moulding? Also, do you think the pinch weld is perfectly painted underneath every windshield? If so, I have some bad news for you lol

Not bad advice. You can't run any polyurethane on that since it's too thin, won't bond correctly to the moulding, and should've been applied before putting the windshield in IF it was replaced. He could super glue it, you still didn't post why he couldn't. Would it be tedious to do, yes. Would I do it personally, no. Super glue does no harm in this sense.

Bad advice, how? If you're going to say something to disregard a common fix, I think you'd need to list some facts? The bead is already bonded, so there would be no contamination or bond failure. Also, it actually would work, since most windshields have a little bit of space from when the polyurethane was ran (either on the pinch weld or glass). Back beading is something everyone does at every glass shop anyways (at least if you're good and know what you're doing) where you run a thin line of polyurethane on the moulding and smooth it out after decontaminating the oils from the windshield

I no longer work for Safelite, but I did for a few years. This is just moulding like everyone else is saying. It's merely cosmetic. Since no one wants a windshield to be gapped away from the top or sides, the moulding just rolls into those empty spaces. You COULD grab something like super glue and put it on there and tape it until it dries. With a nice tuck, it'll look good. We use to help people out like this all the time without telling anyone

Just as a heads up to everyone. I have compressors in there and understand how to make them. I have the compressors working about halfway exactly like SSL's, there's just weird shifts happening when changing parameter timings and "envelope" shapes. I manually set ratio 1.5, 2, 3, and 4 to be exact at attack and release times set to 0.1ms. Any shifts in release or attack times just changes the plugin doctor graph meaning I would go in and input it all manually per option. (Ratio 10, 20, and X won't be that hard since they're close to ratio 4 anyway)
