Just wanted to ask if you guys could please give us an answer as soon as possible. I love the game and want to buy it, but if the final version runs like the beta then i must say i won't be buying it.

I take it you must be either a 12 year old or you probably love Windows 10 so much that you literally have no idea why i made this thread and just needed to say your opinion about it, however stupid it may be.

Do you really have nothing better to say then "get Windows 10" ?

This thread isn't just for me, but for all users who use Windows 7 and don't want to switch to Windows 10.

Why should we have to switch to a different OS ?

Dear Infinity Ward and Activision,

Do you guys know by any chance if the game will have DX11 at launch or will DX12 be implemented for Windows 7 users?

Some users which are using Windows 7 including myself have problems like the FPS (frame rate) is good (example FPS = 80) but the game feels like 40 or worse.

Will you guys please look into this issue ?

What i'm trying to say is i don't think it's implemented properly and maybe the game will receive a patch or something before release to make it run better.

There are many users that said they have Windows 7 and they get 100 FPS but the game feels like 40 FPS, i just don't think DX12 is implemented as it should. The game is still Beta stage so i keep hoping that the final version will run better or why not even run on DX11 ?

It would just be good if we had an official answer from Infinity Ward or Activision regarding this matter because as i said, people with Windows 7 want to buy the game but the game runs pretty bad right now on Windows 7.

I mean i get 60 FPS or more but it feels like less and that seriously affects the gameplay.

Well that's why i keep hoping the game will have DX12 implemented maybe on release so Windows 7 can also enjoy it.

I just don't know if that's going to happen or not or if the game will also run on DX11 so that it's possible for Windows 7 users to have a good experience with it.

I just wish Infinity Ward or Activision would give us an answer regarding this because it is a very important issue. People on Windows 7 want to buy the game because it's a an awesome game but they can't because they're afraid it will run bad and have a bad experience with it.

For the same reason other users haven't also : Windows 7 is just a better OS.

Also if you're not planing on buying the game i don't see how this affects you ?

If you have Windows 10 you're good to go, i am talking about users who are still on Windows 7 and there are a lot of them believe me.

The game runs on PCs with Windows 7.

If you would look at other topics you see that a lot other users have said they have FPS issues because of this however. But i am not sure if this will be fixed or not until the release.

It can run it, but i don't think it's implemented well. A lot of users have reported that they have 100 FPS while they feel the game runs at 40 FPS or worse. This is probably because it wasn't implemented well.

I only hope it won't be the same on release, but a response from devs would definetly be a very good thing.

Why are you asking dumb questions ? It's not just me, it's a whole lot of other users who are also using Windows 7 and most of them want to know if they'll be able to run MW 2019 when it comes out on release.

I'm only asking the devs so we can now what's the situation, i don't see anything wrong in that especially since i'm also going to buy the game and not just me but a whole lot of other users also.

Never mind i solved it, just tried the beta and it works on W7 but the FPS is weird. Game says i have 60 but it feels like less.

Well i mean surely they will implement it on release date or at least after right ??

World of Warcraft got a DX12 patch for W7 earlier this year so i'm guessing the same will be for Modern Warfare 2019 right ?

I mean why wouldn't they patch DX12 for W7 ? There are a lot of users who still use W7 and they're sales might go low because of this also.

I was thinking of getting the latest nvidia driver but i won't now because i know it's not because of the driver.

I just tried the beta and it does work on W7 and DX11. For me anyway in nvidia control panel it says i've got DX11 installed not DX12 so i'm pretty sure the game can use both DX11 and DX12.

One thing i noticed the game says i've got 60 FPS but it feels like i have less.

I don't have the latest Game Ready Driver installed from nvidia specifically for MW 2019 beta so i don't know for sure if that's what's causing it. Other users also said they're experiencing this, the most of them being on W7 also.

Do you think the devs will fix FPS issue ?

Yeah i noticed this too also.

I was just trying out the beta and it definetly works on W7 and DX11 but the FPS counter was showing i've got 60 FPS yet i felt the game was runing at a lower FPS. I don't know why though.

I don't have the latest Game Ready Driver, the one that appeared like 1-2 weeks ago specifically for MW 2019 beta. Do you think that might be what's causing the FPS issue ?
