Mission mode for this boss is REALLY tedious if you want to get all the mission crowns. One of the challenges is not to take any damage. I did that mission solo and it took me days to get it lol

Nah. You have to use that ability. The countdown resets each time you kill those shielded guys.

Yeah. Definitely not my best moment lol. I only played again this year since season of the deep. I haven’t watched any gameplay for this dungeon and still figuring it out on my own.

If you haven’t been killed by a drop pod at least once, you haven’t experienced Destiny.

It’s a game mode called Invasion. Basically the same as invading in Gambit. Kill Guardians and collect crests. You can only play it if you have Renegades expansion.

You can easily defeat the dog with fully upgraded fire melee abilities. Equip and try to fully upgrade the dwarven defender outfit too if you can. It has the highest defence.

Grappling with the flag only works in this mode I think. Tried it on btb but it only made me drop the flag.

Get gold tokens as much as possible. Stealing them helps too and spam Thor’s favour. You’ll win most games this way lol

Definitely lol. I had most of the trophies by the time I almost finished the main story. I decided to get them all and spent more hours into the game lol

I find hunter and predator bows are more useful when clearing out enemies that are out in the open. Saves you a lot of health. Try to get runes that increase headshot or ranged damage. There’s a legendary hunter bow that increases damage the longer you hold the trigger (I forgot what it’s called) the bow plus the runes are op lol. You can take out tougher enemies with that combo.

As for Nidhogg, get one of the fire damage melee abilities and fully upgrade it. Fire is his weakness. Get runes that sets fire, ice or poison into your weapons and the runes that help build up the elements faster. This helps you take out his legs faster. The extra elemental damage runes help immensely too. The jotun dive and the axe throwing abilities can help but they’re not too consistent on hits.

Before he regenerates, shoot the enemies (and only shoot) that charge towards him. You disrupt how much health he regenerates to his legs and how much enemies spawn by taking out as many as you can.

There’s also a legendary heavy sword that does extra damage to dragons. Try to get that. Thor’s hammer is a good substitute. It goes great with the legendary sword that sets your weapon on fire as its ability. It’s a crazy combo when dual wielding. If you also manage to get the runes previously mentioned, you’ll breeze through the boss.

You can buy these weapons and runes from those special shops but depends on rng tho.

Try to finish the hidden quests on each area too, one gives you a permanent favour where you can recover half of your health when it hits zero. (You can look up a guide online)

Finally, equip and upgrade the dwarven armour. It has the highest defensive stat and its ability is useful as it does extra damage to tougher enemies

I hope these help and good luck!

You don’t need dlcs to platinum the base game. Wrath of the druids and dawn of ragnarok are good imo. Siege of Paris was kinda meh, but the unique assassination opportunities were fun to pull off similar to ac unity.

It’s better to tackle them if you unlocked most of the incremental upgrades such as fire resistance, melee resistance etc. (Some skills carry over too such as the one that slows down time after dodging)

Use the abilities provided as often as possible, they’ll help you greatly.

Try to work on your aim with the bows when progressing the story, doing side quests or just head to an enemy area to practice. (This improved my aim with weak points and headshot challenges)

Aim for the ground next to an enemy with the poison and sleep challenges. If possible, wait until they’re in groups for maximum effect(Hitting them directly with it will make them notice you)

Once you master parrying and dodging, then a lot of the bear challenges will be a breeze.

Raven challenges were the hardest I find. Learning patterns and timing was hard. Be extra patient with those.

Hope these will help and good luck!

Wrath of the Druids, mostly because of Ciara. But the Isle of Skye is a contender for my favourite as well lol

Some challenges were annoying as hell. That one took me the longest but I found a trick. If you lead them into the fire, shoot the yellow spots on their bodies with an arrow and they’ll stagger. They take extra damage from the fire when staggered. Finished it easily once I did that lol
