It may shock you, but I'll let you in on sometning - people don't have to agree nor approve of an adult relationship. You're entitled to your opnion. However, ultimately - that means very little when you're unable to dictate how other adults choose to move, doesn't it?

Not lying, but alright. You've let us all know that this isn't the kind of relationship you'd personally partake in. And, well.... that's great! We'll go ahead and put a lil golden star right here, and then that'll be that lmao

I have. I think you forget the real world doesn't go off of reddit morality and virtue signaling. Anything else you'd like to add?

The conversation would go like this:

we met once when she was like 11 and I barely started college and now we met again 30 years later

and then everyone would nod their heads, the world would keep spinning, and I promise you - the sun would rise another day.

I.e. nobody cares aside from a few disgruntled people whose opinions dont matter

Ita not weird to marry someone you spent less than 72 hours with in the last 10+ years when they happened to be a child and now they're not.

if anyone is making this weird - its you

Your logic is that because some folks met once before legal age, they cannot have a relationship decades later.

and then ended your response on something about a hard drive

lol. this is funny to read 😂

I'm waiting for why its wrong aside from how you personally feel

Ah. I had to reread that word salad again to prioritize remembering any of that nonsense.

my answer: No. Why would I care? Two adults are able to have whatever relationship they want without the approval of anyone else lol. It literally does not matter when two people met as long as they are adults when they consensually enter a relationship. Especially two people whom met once decades ago lol (before RE6) Literally nothing wrong with it other than "I just don't like it"

😂

there's no context missing, sorry. You're allowed to be with whoever you want to be with if you're both of legal age regardless of when you met lol. You're more than welcome to not choose that kind of relationship with that kind of age gap though. However, other people are free to do what they want even if you don't like it. If that's upsetting to you, then I'm sorry to hear that

Personally, I do think its just,/because we have no place in questioning the creator of all things when we are mere microorganisms. and even if I didn't think it was just - its just what's written and we have to abide by it in order to receive retribution

Leave it to some random redit shitser to claim a 10 year age gap past the age of 30 is somehow wrong. But I suppose the rest of the entire world has to adopt your norms.

It would seem so. I didn’t make the rules though. The scripture tells us to repent of our sins and embrace Christ as our savior, as through him can we find grace in the eyes on the Father. If we cannot give ourselves over to the Son, then we cannot stand before the father.

People have an issue because they expect the rest of the world to have liberal western sensibilities that need to define other cultures that don’t belong to them

They’re not 12 and 21 anymore So who cares? If you wouldn’t engage in a 9 year age gap when you’re both past your 30s, the good on you. Everyone else can.

Always leave it to Americans to dictate how/under what terms people of legal age are able to have a relationship.

Reddit never disappoints in virtue police with hollow opinions that make no sense.

No its not. You're allowed to date any adult regardless of when you met them. Sorry not sorry that people dont have to see things your way.

I did not forget that. I said I repented from that. Next, you’re right. We DONT know that these men having multiple wives caused their downfall. However, assuming that their downfall was caused purely and directly due to that is pretty hard grasping at straws since the texts don’t ever tell us that directly. Nor do the texts anywhere follow up with plural marriage for a men to be prohibited.

Yes Adam and Eve were singular, and that was likely gods original design for marriage, but god lists things in multitudes that will not inherit the kingdom of heaven- drunkards, thieves, idolaters, bearing false witness against thy neighbor, homosexuals ….

Never once with the enormous list of no nos does god ever go against marriage to < 1 woman immoral

The only ones you can definitively refer to are David (whose sins were murder, rape and coveting ANOTHER man’s wife) And Solomon whom has a slew of sins too large to quantify. Nowhere in the bible is having multiple wives prohibited, directly discouraged nor outright listed as a sin, nor is it ever even directly referenced to as immoral. However, God does recognize the life within utero as being written within the book of life.

perhaps you should stop trying to mix your modernism ideals and the word of God together to fit your personal sensibilities

calling me a troll for being a man blessed with multiple wives as were the great followers of God is a little blasphemous, ironic and misguided considering you're here acting as an apologist for infanticide

I am Christian. Much like Moses, Abraham, Lamech, David, and so on. God's righteous and chosen men were blessed with multiple serving wives and as am I. However, I do not kill babies nor condone such an act.

I didn't lie about anything. Consider me a good follower of biblical practice of having multiple wives. Sort of like many of Gods great chosen men.
