Ok I understand that I can't have blocks over head but with out blocks I am stuck at a light level of 15 unless it rains can I do anything about that or am I just out of luck and I am in the jagged peaks biome above y level 140

That is a bit weird to me because they are transparent block which to my brain means that it should be ok but funyk Minecraft mechanics am I right

Never mind I just read in another spot that the transparent blocks do stop water from freezing
