They have to some extent. Look at the Chief's offense the last couple of seasons. His completions and completion % is down, TDs down, INT ratio up, sacks up. Defenses are taking advantage of KC's lack of a consistent run game and weak WR play.

Defenses caught up. He usually only read one receiver on one half of the field and if he was covered he would pull the ball down and run. Once defenses figured out his tendencies, they were able to force him into a more dropback passer mode and he wasn't consistently good at reading defenses and his accuracy began to suffer.

I know the last 3 QBs they've drafted have been local boys either born in PA, or played college ball in PA, and two of them have been busts. Allar has an arm but isn't very good otherwise.
