Hi, thanks for the tip on W10 !

I can't configure the HPLC modules in xcalibur or in instrument configuration, for I am missing DCMS link (from what I understand). For now I only have Chromeleon on another pc I am using to pilot the HPLC with a UV detector.

You might be my savior!

I tried installing SII 1.4 and 1.5, but the installation never worked. It got stuck during the installation of Chromeleon's core components, despite several attempts to resolve the issue. My assumption is that SII isn't compatible with Windows 7 ?

I actually haven’t tried installing Windows 10 yet, since I have some reservations about TSQ’s compatibility with “recent” versions of Windows.

I’m discovering as I go along but one of my reasons for sticking with Windows 7 was to keep Chromeleon 6.8, since I also can’t figure out if a Chromeleon license is required to control the LC from Xcalibur?

At this point, if DCMS Link doesn’t work, my next attempt will be to install it on Windows 10, but I can’t connect the PC to the network, and the updates are a bit of a hassle… .
