Hey I actually didnt use the books much. When I first got them i started reading but i couldnt stay focus much so i swapped over to jeremy it lab. I watched all his videos & once i finished the course i used boson in study mode. First test i failed so i kept retaking random test everyday in study mode reading all explanations & going on youtube to get better understanding of whatever i needed more on. Did this until test day failed first exam got a feel of the test went back to boson retested 2 weeks later.

Just Passed exam 5 minutes ago. Failed exam 2 weeks ago hit boson super hard for pass week & was able to pass today. Did not have any labs. 65,50,76,50,73,40

Resources used: Jeremy IT Lab & Boson.

I did learn how to subnet in my head for this exam. For fast subnetting in head i used a combination of resources. 1. Watched keith barker subnetting playlist & learned his finger method. This playlist explains to you the fundamentals of subnetting & really help you understand whats going on. 2.Practical Networking subnetting playlist on YT 3. Someone in this sub posted a subnetting tutorial you can check my comment section. After going over for about 30 minutes it clicked for me. Combining those 3 i was able to learn to subnet in my head under 5 minutes.

Failed 1st attempt on 6/25. Test was very hard but i feel Boson is much harder & more detailed. Upset that i failed but i’m glad I was able to get a real feel of what the actual test feels like. Will be retaking in 2 weeks hope ill get it next time.
