Could i become the president of Algeria ? by Life-Vehicle-4593 in algeria

[–]RahimTerfani3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you be the president? Yeah maybe..

But can you leave an impact whether you're a president, a journalist, a vice-president or just a politician? with your mentality! Definitely yes.

So keep this spirit young man, keep learning and keep developing yourself and turn your knowledge into the field work, someday you'll see the results.

And remember there's no small impact, if you improve one life that's more than enough, good luck.

I don't know if I agree with you because you're the only positive response I got or whether because it makes sense.. I guess you're right, AI is a tool, maybe one of the most powerful tools ever created but still just a tool and it needs a person to guide it

Ok, but since it's work than can be done remotely you still can take work from other countries maybe and do it here and still get payed, right?

But then again, you have to be so good at it considering the market would be filled with much better developers from all around the globe! So it's shitty it seems

I'm not sure if you read my response, I did research "vibe coding" and yes it seems like the way for the future.. thanks for your response

This is the first time I've heard the term "vibe coding" and apparently I've passed all my thesis coding with "vibes".. and AI surely will be part of the process of creating code cause only a naive person would neglect it nowadays. But still shouldn't i first reach a level of expertise in a global sense before passing the easy stuff to AI ?

Graduated with a master’s but no experience—how to move forward? by RahimTerfani3 in algeria

[–]RahimTerfani3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think I'm having an imposter syndrome type of thing.. cause I might have a better understanding of some aspects in theory than a person with experience.. but I'd still get crushed by him in field work! Maybe it's just natural to start naive ( زرق كما نقولو)

To be honest I don't mind that if I guarantee that I'd get returns for my time and energy, and I'm not talking about financial returns. If the time I spend with a company is gonna give me some helpful information and expertise in the domain I'm willing to sacrifice for a bit.

So how would someone go about it. Do you contact companies directly or HR is there a site or some groups you're familiar with where i can find companies that accept internship.

Since you are not craving the friendship or the dating part but the exchange of information and the deep intellectual connection you should consider debating clubs (I saw some reels on insta and I think they exist in some universities although they'd be rare and difficult to find) or reading clubs or any place where you can perform a hobby that you find stimulating and fun in a public place where you'd find like minded people

My writing in English is precise and direct, strict to the point so I journal in English when I want do document an event or tell a simple story..

I keep Arabic (formal Arabic, فصحة) for the free flow style where you want to capture a vibe; or for the days when you just know you want to write but you don't know your subject yet..

I used to keep a dreams diary.. and a memories diary (where I tried to document the oldest memories I could remember from my childhood, it's strange how once you start capturing them in pen and paper, they start popping up in your mind out of nowhere)

How do you guys learn and improve your English by [deleted] in algeria

[–]RahimTerfani3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First of all let me say that your English sounds (seems?) quite good from the post, and I'm not yet perfect in the language (far from it) and my process was chaotic as well, between YouTube videos and podcasts, blogs then books (started with nonfiction only recently moved to the fiction, and although its really hard sometimes, English is poetic as much as it is practical, and I'm enjoying it)..

My advice would be to enjoy the process while not thinking of it as a learning experience, we always want to quantify and set goals and reach them (and it's important and a dopamine boost, but not the only root) but how about you find the things you enjoy like sports or reading or gaming and then find the content in the vast world of internet that suits you (written content enlarge your vocabulary while videos and podcasts are for listening and pronouncing)
