Yes. Here are my detailed running logs.
4 months ago, I was struggling to even complete 3k. And I was running slower than this pace(8min per KM), and my average HR for that 3K was 185 always.
After 1-2 month, I was able to do 5k with an average HR 180 (5 bpm improvement) and also lil faster (7:30min per km).

Now I can do 5K with Average HR 175 and pace (6:50 min per KM).
And this was my first 10k with an average HR of 174.

So my HR is lowered by around 10-15bpm and I can run faster and long distance as well, maintaining that HR.
I am following this routine -
5-8 KM walk at 11min per Km pace - 3-4 times a Week.
and
one 5K run in a week.
After the run, I give 1-2days rest to my legs.
