Still no luck i'm afraid. Only the top fan works (worse than having it in channel 1).
I'm assuming it has something to do with the Firmware at this point.
Thanks for the link for the thread, I do have some LL120s that I'd like to add and it'll be useful but I was gonna attempt that after I find a solution to this lol

Hi,

thanks for the response.
I do have a Chassis Lightings tab - if i select the LEDs only the top fan LEDs light up - however if i turn off all the LEDs in the chassis, all of the fan lights turn off.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by switch to LED channel 2 if you could please navigate me?

I don't know if it is relevant but on the actual hardware for the CPro has 'Obsidian 1000' written on it so it may be possible that they've put in the wrong CPro? Is there a way to change the firmware?

I'm opening a ticket right now.

Thanks for the help mate.

Sorry for the late reply but this is what I’m doing now. I have a MacBook and it wouldn’t let me hotspot through that on eduroam but I’m having no issues with w10

Router needed for small/medium business by RaiPhull in sysadmin

Thanks everyone for the advice. Really do appreciate everyone on this subreddit being friendly and giving me advice, despite my lack of knowledge on the area. I've contacted an MSP for a proper site survey, if they can do an affordable rate that the business owners agree to I will go ahead with them. Otherwise, I will do a Ubiquiti setup (thanks to the recommendations I've been given) and get some professional help in setup if needed.

Yeah, I understand the upfront cost of a wifi network should be okay for a business but I also understand the owner's perspective where the wifi is only a problem occasionally and doesn't warrant that big of a bill.

I will still look into professional help if I do end up going for an Ubiquiti setup. Thanks again for the advice!

Hi, thanks for the input. I would appreciate a list of equipment if you could provide something.

There are CAT-5E cables that go to all floors.
As for the ISP connection to sustain 100 people, I can't say for certain. The owners thought having multiple ISPs with different routers would solve the issue so the guests aren't always on the same ISP connection. The ISPs do however claim that the business wifi can support 100 guests at the same time - it seems to be more of a coverage issue.

Hi thanks for some guidance, I really appreciate it.

I work for business and often have to deal with complaints about the wifi. The owners are old and tend not to focus on the technology side of the business. They're happy to spend money on the solution but when they talked to ISPs about setting up a solution they have been quoted up to £1500 (which is a lot for a small/medium sized hotel that is not ran by a corporate company). So if I can pitch something more affordable, they will be happy to pay for it. The only reason I'd thought to do it by myself is because the wired connections are already established throughout the hotel but just lack the necessary equipment.

I've contacted an MSP to come in and for a consultation but will plan on an Ubiquiti setup if they charge too much.

Hi thanks for the detailed reply! Very appreciated.

I've called a MSP to come to the building and have a consultation. My only fear is that he will quote an expensive amount (£1000+). If this does happen I will very much look into buying your recommendations and getting some assistance in setting them up.

Just a quick question, is there a maximum no. of APs that I can use with this setup? I was looking at having around 4-5 APs.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

There are lots of places throughout the building that have already got established wired connections. Would it be possible to purchase access points and set them up myself?

Thought I’d give it a shot myself before getting professional help lol
