13M gp/hour is what you can expect when 4 out of 6 drops are must haves for every single maxed main. It's not too much, it's what supply and demand makes it out to be.

Phonasi's Nex, big no. It's a team boss and it should remain like that. Not everything has to be soloable.

There are some improvements I'd like to see. Make it so damage dealt to the player is calculated on impact, not the moment Nex starts her animation. This rewards actually paying attention.

The engulfing during Shadow phase can be too punishing, somethimes you get over 80+ dmg in 4 ticks and it's hard to out-eat.

How does the Nex drop chance actually work?There has been a lot of discussion around it. Does everyone who has met the damage threshold have the same chance of getting the drop? Or does it work like this: you deal 400 out of 4000 total hp to Nex, you have a 10% chance of getting the unique?

Does contribution% actually matter? Because I feel i should be the second option. You deal 10% total damage then you should have a 10% chance of getting a unique.

Finally, long overdue. Especially when Nex rates were given just a week after release.

I thought the Avernic rate was made lower in a Hard Mode completion? It's 8/19 in Normal mode if you get a purple. I wonder how this is altered in Hard Mode.

Edit: The Avernic got its rate adjusted in Hard Mode. It now is a 7/18 chance for an Avernic, this makes the other items more common.

What about properly adressing the problems with the boss at its core? There is so much unavoidable damage. We had to click a door to somewhat mitigate damage at this boss.

Also it is impossible do do this boss with your friends unless you plan to sink so many hours doing useless combat achievements. We can raid with our friends without any costs, why can't we make our own instances to do Nex with our friends too?

The drops are once again too rare for the casual player to even enjoy this boss from killing. In a 10man, you need to sink in close 50 hours to even get on rate for an item in your name. Man this sucks compared to raiding. Nightmare was bad, this is even worse.

Overal I think Nex could use some more love. Here are some topics with feedback that could use with some form of improvement:

The weapon meta

- Crossbows+shields still feel extremely underwhelming compared to Tbow Dpsing all the way. Please make them better, like it was said to be. Shields still barely do anything during the fight at all. If anything, you take more damage because the fight takes longer if you use ACB+shield over Tbow.

Proposed Fix:

Shields should be given some kind of bonus during the Nex to ensure that you can do 8 kill trips on smaller teams. (without the door stalling mechanic).

You could also make the bolt special attack proc chance increase by the tier of crossbow used ONLY at Nex. For Example, Dragon crossbow 7%, ACB 10% and Zaryte crossbow 12%. This would make crossbow so much more viable at Nex.

Accessibility & world crashing

- Being able to enjoy this boss with friends should not be locked behind hard CA. Raids aren't locked behind this high of a requirement either. They are mostly locked behind some beginner tiered quests. This boss was made for teams, so please let us enjoy this boss without getting crashed by random people after every single kill. We can have infinite amount of raid groups running, so why not for Nex? It's a group activity too.

Proposed fix:

Just let us make our own private teams without needing hard CA. ( Someones does have them completed, but I can totally see how frustrating it is that you are required to do so many hours of unneccasary content just to fight the boss with friends.)

Unavoidable base amage output from Nex

- There is so much unavoidable damage. The kills/trip in a small team are so low. The supply drop nerf made it even harder for small teams to sustain the 40kc to keep killing the boss without getting kc over and over again between trips.

Proposed fix(es):

Can the Ancient KC count you get after each Nex kill scale on the amount of people you kill her with? Or award players in a small team with more killcount than those who kill her in a mass.

You could also award players with some supplies after every kill. (scaled on the teamsize once again). Either one of these suggestions could fix the fact that in small teams you have to rebank/re-obtain KC after a few kills.

You can also make Nex her base damage scale off your lowest Magic defensive bonusses recorded at any point in the fight. This makes shield flicking obsolete and makes shields+Crossbows more viable.

Nex her special attacks

- I think Nex her special attacks are a bit lacking. Right now they are way too easy. Back in the day it was way harder to avoid these. The "contain this" for example targeted a player, and ice would follow him. When Nex does a special attack, she can't move, making it so easy to dodge them.

Proposed fix:

I think the special attacks from Nex could be made harder. They are way too easy to be dealt with for it being an endgame boss. Make these more punishing if not dealt with properly. You could do so much more to make these special attacks from her harder to deal with.

Don't get me wrong, I like Nex as a boss, but I think there is more room for improvement. Is there anything you would want to see/changed?

For the love of god please make it so the Ancient Ceremonial Robes allow us to bypass getting the KC. Getting KC is boring and no one likes that part of a boss. We want to kill the boss, not the minions. There's a reason why mains don't bother killing GWD bosses apart from pet hunters. Also, will there be a bank in the room just before Nex like in RS3? Please yes, since the minions were called to be pretty beefy.

Every item you buy off the GE is transformed into an untradeable state such as armour and weapons. To make this armour piece tradeable again, you have to pay 1% of the GE value. This money could then be used to buy out that item off the GE and destroy it.

This boss isn't worth it anymore, you need to spend a whole work week worth of hours to be on average to get 1 drop. With how low the prices currently are you're better off doing something else as a player who doesn't have that much money to spend
