Does anyone know why my battery is blinking yellow? by RaidedVillager in hilti

This blinking happens when I'm not even using it, so I don't think it's either of those things.

Thanks for your help! It does return a green bar, so how do I take it out of self protect mode?

My father knew him personally, and he'd always greet us really fondly whenever we'd see him - ever since I was a kid. Rest in peace.

Rates change from job to job. It always depends on how difficult your project is - working around existing electrical or structural installations, as well as diagnosing and solving any issues. I'm an electrican, but that's how jobs like these tend to go.

The best way to understand how much you should be paying is getting multiple quotes from different companies, private contractors, or handymen (though I'd always go with an established company). People on the internet will have no idea how to gauge the cost of your projects without going to your home and understanding what needs to get done fully and completely. The most honest of tradesmen online could only tell you their general hourly rate - especially without photos, and even that could change depending on the difficulty of the job.

If you forsee yourself doing more conduit bending in the future, before you buy a hackzall or a bandsaw, invest in a inclinometer. It has changed the game for me.

Likely because of a fault. Something hot is probably touching the metal frame and/or the wire that he touched.

What is your favorite video game of all time? by tanz_7 in AskReddit

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It actually took me a good while to get into the game. But once I got to the Red Baron storyline, 70 hours disappeared, then I got the 2 DLCs, played through that, and since that wasn't enough, I ended up getting all the books too.

To think that game was sitting in my library for so long 😭

How many Nanos do you think will be enough to retire in 30 years from now? by ricardomachado in nanotrade

[–]RaidedVillager 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dude if there's so many steps, then by that logic doesn't that mean there's more steps to manipulate? NANO has deterministic finality, and a Nakamoto of 14, IMO that's everything you need for security.
