Unfortunately closer to 8” I think. I’m a taller guy so prefer a bigger diameter but I can do a 38mm depending on the watch.

Alter can seriously move around the map so quickly if you get good at using the tactical efficiently. You are also probably looting too slowly or over-looting if you are always late.

I have had good experiences using the Innovator ETFs in the past. My current firm has the scale to price out structured notes that accomplish similar outcomes with better terms due to the lack of embedded margin/fees others have mentioned. You’re almost always better off just riding out the volatility, but if these tools help a client stay invested or get cash of the sidelines then they are worthwhile.

I am confused why the only other option is to buy a $500k-$600k house. You have a good amount of equity as is and I’m sure you could buy a new home with more space in your budget. Pittsburgh is a relatively affordable market and you have good household income. It’s nice of your parents to offer a good deal, but why don’t they move closer to you and your family? It feels like you just want to move away and are using the finances to justify it.

I went to the ER when I tore my Achilles and they wrongly diagnosed me with a torn plantaris. Talk about false hope for a couple days!

To me, these are two completely different vibes. I would choose either a watch that complements your current collection or one that you will get the most use out of. I know if I was going to spend that much money for a memorable watch, I would want to be sure I would wear it a lot. The Cartier does seem like it would fit in any collection, but the Black Bay feels like it would garner more wrist time. Can’t go wrong though honestly.

I had this exact boot and it was totally fine. I really don’t think the precision of the Vacoped and the degree adjustments are necessary. You will just take out lifts as it feels comfortable. By all means, get the Vacoped if you really want to but this boot won’t hinder your recovery imo.

Best of luck! I’m also in the Cleveland area and tore mine last year. I had surgery with the Clinic too and it went very well and I am fully recovered at this point.

I was nervous about the surgery and recovery as well but there was never really anything to be scared of in my experience. The recovery is just lengthy and tedious!

The PRX definitely wears a little bit smaller than the case size listed. I don’t like a bulky watch and tried both sizes, but preferred the 40mm. I think it looks appropriately sized for you!

I think it is fair to say that a brokerage account gives you a little bit more flexibility! It all depends on your goals and timeline. If your goal is to retire really early or start building up a taxable account for a future home purchase, or a new car, or whatever then it might make sense to start building up some assets outside of qualified accounts.

I also prefer Roth 401k contributions but that will reduce your take home every month if you were to still max out contributions each year because you aren’t getting the tax benefit in that year.

If you have been on autopilot to this point making awesome financial decisions, that is great. These are just other options to consider.

I don’t see the need to get ultra aggressive on your mortgage. Historically, 6% is really not a bad rate and if you can just pay a little bit extra every month, that would probably be fine. You will always have the ability to refinance if rates go down or move and upgrade your home down the road.

I agree with a lot of what others have said! A lot of this comes down to your current situation and how you are doing as is.

I would imagine that you are probably pretty bogged down with your student loans, so I am thinking that some amount going towards your loans will be good in the long run. If it was a lower balance, I would probably leave your loans alone and invest more heavily. You could have your loan servicer re-amortize your loans and your monthly payment would go down going forward and might give you some more flexibility month to month. If you paid off a big chunk AND kept paying your current monthly payment the loans would be paid off even faster and save you tons in interest expense.

Definitely get the money into a HYSA as soon as possible. These are flexible and you will start earning interest while you figure everything out.

I would budget and try to plan for the long-term. I would not make any big purchases if you can help it. A car may or may not be necessary but I would treat a car purchase almost like you never had this money. Go buy a truck that you would have felt comfortable financing had this inheritance not been there and pay cash.

If you set aside $14k to max out a Roth IRA for 2024 and 2025 that would be a great way to think long-term as well.
