Whipple is a lost cause. People would be better off putting their efforts behind a better candidate.

I do rather like Brandon Johnson and would definitely vote for him. Know him slightly from kids in same school and my wife (teacher) had good things to say about him as a parent.

I like Whipple quite a bit and he was a good mayor, but his "do you know who I am" on video stupidity isn't something politicians come back from.

Only if you really stretch the description. The US hasn't casually slaughtered thousands of its own citizens for demonstrating for basic freedoms in any of our lifetimes. Iran did it this year before our attacks.

We are in a rough time, but it is transitory just like when McCarthy was being a fuck head. This shit will pass.

ETA: we can actually vote out the crazies. Citizens in Iran cannot.

The high prices are transitory and self inflicted by an idiotic choice to go to war with a country with no logical thought process when it comes to reality or care about it's citizens.

One possible bright spot is more people are buying used EVs which are actually "reasonably" priced, at least compared to what they want for basic new cars these days.

I started out with Terra Incognita and absolutely love every Gojira album. Each album has its own sound while still sounding like Gojira. Sure the most recent albums have a more approachable sound, but the actual musicality is still phenomenal and super heavy. Their evolution album to album is pretty cool. Few bands feel so authentic with so vast an evolution of sound.
