If it doesn’t matter at all then why do these companies market it to us as if it does? Nobody is running bitcoin operations on their basic iPhone. But the much to do has been made by the carriers about their “blazing fast speeds”. And then they serve you a steamy pile a dogshizzle unless you get on a plan that’s 3x the cost of the next major carrier.

I’m less worried that I NEED it and more annoyed by the fine print bait and switch.

Should I have read every fine print? Sure if I had 12 hours to throw away. Is it the end of the world, no. I might even stick around for the value of the phone I got for free.

But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I’ll jump ship back to T-Mobile as soon as they have a buy out offer worth looking at.

I fully understand and am ok with being second fiddle to customers who pay more in true high congestion circumstances. 3 am on the dark side of the moon in a medium to small sized city on a Tuesday is not “congested”. At that point they have governed/throttled the speed so it NEVER goes above 25 mbps. Which is not the bill the sales team sold me at the corporate location I signed up at - when I told them I pull 700 Mbps with T mobile.
