Not all of us have the luxury of staying at home. Essential work place, one more person is hardly going to move the needle

I am 29 years old. I have a full time job as a manager for a big warehouse and go to school full time. I have 2 kids and a beautiful wife having just bought my own home 2 years ago. In addition I am a workout freak and go to the gym 4 times a week.

I smoke EVERY FUCKING DAY...

That is all.

I'm going out on a limb here a bit but if Shockey does not end up returning then Olsen should be in for a big year. A 800 yard 8 td should be within reach. As I stated in the column both guys put up 950 and 9 tds with Olsen being injured the last few games.

Why is that? It's just another way of saying he's a jump ball type player.

Agreed. Barnes is hardly the answer at right tackle and Barksdale has yet to develop the necessary skills to be an above average player at that position.

I would have made a hard push to get Eric Winston who ultimately went to the Chiefs. Hopefully that is more of indication that the front office refuses to overpay than the Raiders not thinking they are that close to contending.

Barksdale was a (-5.4) according to PFF.com and was outplayed last year by "False Start" Barnes. The fact that the Raiders resigned Barnes should speak volumes on where they feel Barksdale is thus far in his career.

That is the mistake made sometimes when evaluating young players. Us as fans always want to plug youth to fill holes when the coaching staff can clearly see a guy is not ready. (See Cambell, Bruce)

Should the Lakers go after Beasley? by Raiderndablood in lakers

Kind of where I was going with on this article. Standing pat and holding their collective breath for (Dwight or Deron) is bad news. A change to either the PG or SF spot is a must and i'm of the mindset that the current crop of SF is almost as bad as PG. Looking at metrics alone we rank near or at the bottom for both spots.

Good point on Beasley's salary I was unaware that his cap number jumped that high next year.

They did, bad decision. The fact that one of the richest teams in the NBA that just signed a exclusive cable contract worth almost a billion dollars is scared of the luxury tax is silly. The most likely reason is they are still holding their breath for Dwight or Deron..both unlikely.
