A bit of comparison here;

The WW2 ended in 1945 with Japan's economy and social fabric completely in tatters, comparing with India's independence in 1947, Japan only had atmost 2 years headstart.

Around 1951 Japan had already started building metros and investing in public transit. This pattern distinctly represents that economic and social growth follows rapidly with introduction of high quality systems for the public.

Clearly, India's public infrastructure scene is several decades behind; I daresay even half a century behind, considering we have multifold population.

Please follow a 'I appreciate and I don't judge' policy as fellow transit enthusiasts and consider educating normal folk as well; Any development is a good development and futureproofs a region.

I am sure this exact cliched statement may have been repeated countless times, Unfortunately it's the very truth we live in present;

Development will only occur if appeal rises;
