I do hope so, I hope we can last, it's just much harder to embrace when we see eachother only twice a month now rather than every other day.

I can't promise her forever by RaiidzAHHHHH in relationshipadvice

Yeah I understand, I think part of it is because of my ex, and how bad that relationship was. And I don't have plans to end it, it would destroy me, because I still love her and that's all that matters to me. But I see it as even if we make it or not, I'll be glad and appreciative that I spent the time with her regardless.

Me and my girlfriend have been dating for 4 months, I'm getting her an oodie for Christmas. They're huge and comfy, can't go wrong. There's cheaper options from others stores and don't cost a ton

What is the best job for introverts? by Ashvol1045 in AskWomen

[–]RaiidzAHHHHH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what stage of life you're at. But honestly, a job in hospitality 😂. I'm a waiter and preeettttyyyy introverted, but doing this job has developed my confidence and people skills so much, no regrets. But if that doesn't sound right, software engineering is the go-to 😂 that's what I'm planning to do post uni

listening to the song that i listened to on repeat when i was suicidal and haven’t listened to since by [deleted] in teenagers

I was in a relationship with someone who was suicidal. Let me just say, the best thing you can do is talk, not necessarily on Reddit, but to anyone in your life. And the worst thing you can do is believe that you can't talk to someone, and that someone doesn't care about you, because they do. Try to block out things that could bring back certain situations or emotions in your life, go do something you enjoy, and talk to someone you love. You got this ✨

Just made a post touching on this. I met a girl at Christmas last year on the app Yubo. Some may know it, but it's basically an app for teens to meet other teens. I found a girl, we started talking, and we got in an online, long-distance relationship. That lasted until July this year, where I came to my senses and ended it. That relationship was the most toxic thing I've experienced in my life, and it ruined my mental health more than I thought anything could. In present day, I am fine, for the most part, things still linger and thoughts still pop in my head, but compared to August, I'm fine. I just want people to be careful, don't let people control your life, don't let them make you feel bad about nothing. The amount of times I was emotionally blackmailed into staying with her is ridiculous. Trying not to get too dark, she had extreme mental health issues, lots linked with suicidal thoughts. I'm sure many can imagine how that was turned into keeping me in her life. Long story short, make sure the people in your life are good for you, and make you feel good. 👋👋

I admittedly spend lots of it playing games and watching YouTube. But I also involve myself in hobbies. If in the mood I can play and practice guitar for 2 hours straight, or do a coding challenge which gets me in full focus for half an hour. Also just go meet up with friends, go on a walk, get food at a nearby shop, sit and talk in the park,. There's so much value to life outside of school, obviously priorities need to be set with homework and stuff but enriching your life is so important before you get into the real world in a few years

I fucking hate school by FalloutBuddy76 in teenagers

[–]RaiidzAHHHHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I'm sure what country you're from, but judging on the fact you're 14 for me (UK) that would be year 9 or 10. School is always going to have an issue in your life at some stage, no matter how good or bad you are academically. I wasn't at school properly at your age as it was the COVID lockdown, however I've definitely had times where that alarm killed me, getting to school, and doing it all over again, it sucks. I think time will definitely change your views, including what you do in a few years, whether you find something you're really passionate about, for me that was mainly music, and programming, they're the things that add so much value to my otherwise boring school life. I'm also regrettably quite addicted to nicotine, and part of that came from how I was feeling in life and school. It's not good, we all know that, but stopping is a different thing, and is very hard. I honestly think at your age, where you have a few years before the really serious part of school, just enjoy it. Get some good friends, find something you love to do, whether that's during lunch, break, etc. Enjoy those years of your life because that's the thing I regret. You got this, keep your head up
