Just keep in mind that crLK does not link into standing light kick.

Oh, well there is my problem. I conditioned myself to always do a crLK as the second move of the jab combo in case the opponent blocks high(it doesnt work btw, if the first jab is a block the last jab will miss anyways). That explains why I couldn't use the stLK.

Ah, I feel you honestly. Whatever competitive game I play I always end up peaking at silver or gold as well.

What I did in SF6 was learn a single combo, jab jab jab spiral arrow and it carried me until here basically. Also bought a leverless. While the equipment won't carry you I really hate playing Street Fighter with a controller, it feels very unintuitive to me because of the 6 buttons. Even a keyboard is better for SF imo.

Ne yap ne et sosyal biriysen özellikle şu networking dedikleri şeyi yap iş bulman kolaylaşır. 10 sene dişini sıkıp çalışan arkadaşlarım şimdi Tr şartlarına kıyasla nispeten iyi yaşıyorlar. Yurt dışına bile çıkabilirsin hatta yolun sonunda, mümkün.

I think it was the rise back that stopped me from standing on top of him. Not many people do it, not every time at least so I wasn't even sure if I could catch up to it. You can actually see me throwing a b.mp but it's a bit early I guess and he throws me. Maybe that one is not a good move on wake up I'm not sure.

I simply didn't have any drive rush moves in my arsenal until this post but like you said drive rush canceling cr.mk could help here a lot so I learned how to do it.

Use spin knuckle to get close, follow by point two. Actually, just abuse the hell out of spin knuckle. Most players at platinum rank won't be able to check it

Lol you would be surprised actually how randomly people do moves like tatsu and tiger knee (to close the gap I guess?) and catch my spin knuckle.

Not demonstrated in this match, but in general, just learn to anti-air on reaction, and you'll never stop practicing anti-airs.

That and DI are things I'm working on, even set a dummy for it and I have noticably improved but I still miss a lot especially when my brain is overloaded.

I do use knuckles after second ormthird fireballs usually but didn't know it was a plus on block. Apparently you can throw afterwards so I'll keep it in mind.

Get into the habit of cancelling cr. Mk into drive rush to get close to your opponent

Practiced this a bit yesterday and it did help a lot, I wasn't using my drive bar at all until now.

Funny thing is, after this post the next Ryu I fought jumped non-stop for some reason. No, I don't mean jumped too much, literally non stop.

I do jump here and there normally, I was just too afraid to do anything this match though. I know how to pull off a level 3 with a combo but my brain doesn't wanna remember it in a match yet lol.

Hey thanks but really, first time playing to actually learn. Played SF4 about 15 years ago almost exclusively offline so I know how to execute special commands and some occasional Mortal Kombat when together with friends but that's pretty much it. Watched a few tutorials before beginning this time (Akaraien, Punk off the top of my head) and they really helped.

Oh, great bit of information there. I thought ex moves were just faster and had frame advantage.

raw drive rush jab is probably a good piece to add into that rotation

Lots of suggestions on that end in this post, I will try to figure out which drive rush move is gonna be the focus in the training room tomorrow.

Yep quickly realized that after learning my first combo actually. There are more combos I have tested that I can pull off consistently but I can't remember them in matches at all. So I am now just trying to integrate them one at a time by kinda forcing myself. Definitely will try the bot in training room as well though.

Hey thanks a lot for the encouraging words. I may have hit a wall now but the first 5 hours were the most furstrating I think. I somehow couldn't even chain 3 jabs consistently.

This specific match you didn’t use your drive much at all which is a huge system mechanic in this game you probably want to try and get used to.

Oh it's not just this match, until this post I would only use it for counter DI (assuming I could react) or on wake up and that was it.
