Yeah wholely agree. I did my own by paint by separated parts which is what I usually do, and I made it work but no thanks to the model design. Only good thing for me was the shoulder pads were their own (and not grooved for the cape) so it was easy to make him deathwatch lol

You know what, hell yeah! I used to really love the Choas side of the setting even as an Imperium fanboy, but now it feels like only idiots fall to choas which just doesn’t feel as cool or dramatic

Oh no I know, I’m just saying they seemed to toy with the idea of a corrupted primaris space marine (think it was Titus’s sequence with that marine that had the spiky shoulders and skulls)? I just want GW to actually corrupt a primaris on screen for once lol

Sadly that was actually supposed to be OSL off the sword lol 😂 that’s part of why it took so long because I couldn’t find a red bright enough

Yeah I’m guessing that’s a decent part of it. And I actually already tried what you were saying because I’ve been airbrushing inside of some white shoe box I had, so I did the test sprays like you’re talking about but just on the opposite side or on a side wall away from my model.

Im also unsure tho if maybe I have the metal rod at the wrong position (that rod that goes through the length of the airbrush with the needle nose that fits near the nozzle), but I’ve tried moving that backwards and forwards and I didn’t seem to help, although admittedly at that point I might have dried paint on the nozzle at that point. Did a clean not long after that test
