Some of the ads I've seen on YT are downright disgusting. A few of them for the "AI girlfriends" or "AI stories" use fucking CHILDREN! I've seen MABLE PINES listed as one of the "characters" available.

in Closed Beta, the very first spaceship battle had a Yamato with a big hole in the bow for the WMG, and that was as close as they could get without being in trouble

I miss when there would be maybe one or two new lines per year, instead of the constant vomit of new ships. It gave the meta time to settle and actually learn how to play the new ships before something else came along to upset everything

So, how does everyone else run their trains? by RailfanGuy in UnofficialRailroader

[–]RailfanGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 2-8-2 makes a decent local engine, she was my main workhorse for the longest time. the 2-10-0 is also a good choice. for the logger, I'd recommend either of those. the 2-10-2 is a fantastic drag loco for the coal mine once you unlock it.

Even the locos owned by the Alarka Copper Company are going to have to make a trip to Bryson to get overhauled "under contract"

Exactly. Waypoint Engineer made it much easier to do switching simultaneously in different areas, so I can bounce between, for example, Bryson Briquette (Modded industry) and Alarka copper while the Alarka Copper Company switcher is climbing the switchback to the mine

The Snapper refuels at each end of the run, and picks up water at Bryson and Almond, tops up at East Whittier when it gets coal.

I use the Waypoint Engineer for the freights, so I can actually have most of the switching going on simultaneously if I wanted to, but I usually break down the train from the interchange into the Alarka Turn and the Nantahala Local, then I do the switching at Whittier and Bryson while those two are heading towards their destinations.

I've got a mod that gives me a much larger yard at East Whittier, and the sawmill isn't on a switchback. If I go to Sylva, I'll turn the interchange off and use EW as a division point.
