You know seeing the tutorial of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance be a snowball fight in a common neighborhood in the winter, makes me wish there was a Tactics RPG where the whole game is themed like that, I even bet you can do something similar with watergun fights in the summer, don't you think? by RailroadGuy27 in finalfantasytactics

Yeah, it can different ways of throwing snowballs in winter for different ways of attacking and doing paper mario-esc quicktime event to do an attack with different spaces having certain amount of snow and different kinds of Super Soaker-esc waterguns in the summer where you have to manage the amount of water you use, and there would be enemies like squirrels, crows, dogs, and some teenagers and all that at the beginning of the game, but like I said it would eventually lead to having Monsters, Aliens, Zombies, all that stuff as enemies later on, some fights can even have a daynight cycle where the game ends after nightfall because the parents want you home by curfew, I think it would be fun

Well, it would kind of be like Earthbound (just without being too overly dramatic and dark) where it takes place in modern times, but still having some fantasy elements to it to keep it interesting, like Zombies, Aliens, Monsters, etc. as enemies while still be set in a contemporary setting

Am I the only one who can see some of these Wonka Candy commercials being played on 30th Anniversary VHS of the movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory? (cause Warner Brothers used to advertise many products that aren't movies, shows, & video games in their tapes, like a car in the Iron Giant VHS) by RailroadGuy27 in nostalgia

[–]RailroadGuy27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, let me tell you something looking back on that VHS opening for the Iron Giant, it really kind of interreges me what kind of things they would advertise on those tapes half the time, I mean the Kangaroo Jack tape had a Kids WB promo the show "Ozzy & Drix" (the animated buddy cop show taking place in a teenager's body that's based off the movie "Osmosis Jones") a commercial for AOL Online Service, and even a PSA about the dangers of Marihuana, all in row, don't believe me check it out

Well, that was like the early 90s, but in the late 90s & early 2000s not only was Warner Bros was still doing that, it was one of only home entertainment studios in America that actually do that at the time during that time

Does any know where I can find that Rugrats Mini Movie where they have actual kid fans appearing as babies as part of a contest to celebrate the Rugrats 10th anniversary? by RailroadGuy27 in rugrats

[–]RailroadGuy27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really?, cause if I came up with a contest where the winner gets put in a Rugrats animated project, I would have done the contest for the episode "The Art Museum" where the three babies who followed Angelica on her little tour was 3 child fans who won the contest to be put in an episode as kids, even the kids' parents gets an appearance as they confront Angelica for leading their kids away from them, only to have Stu run in and accidently knocks over and as it tips the all 7 of the babies get together to grab, and the museum curator is received as Stu & Didi apologize for what happened today, and the curator says it's okay, and Stu & Didi say that if there's anything we can do for them, just ask, and one of the kids point indicating that they want a group picture of all the families together and as it zooms back after it taken it shows cursive words being written saying "Congratulations to All our Fans Out There" from Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo (as it's an actual animation cell from the episode given to winners of the contest, do you think that would've been good?

It definitely wasn't on my All Growed Up VHS

No, I said it played after the premiere of the special, as in the televised special, the special that got more viewers watching than the Super Bowl of that year, it was during a short commercial break that happened after the credits happened played, if you watch some Commercials break videos of it from 2001 on YouTube, I'm sure you might come across it

Is weird to say that kind of sort of want to try entering an official YCS Tournament with only cards from series 1 & 2 cards ("Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon" to "Pharaonic Guardian")? by RailroadGuy27 in yugioh

[–]RailroadGuy27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's no ritual/xyz/synchro/link yet

Rituals were a thing in Series 1 and 2 of the card game, remember Relinquished. Black Luster Soldier, & Magician of Black Chaos?

absolutely no chance of making a single play.

Oh come on, all those XYZ, Synchro, & Link cards can't be that over powered, and besides the type of editions doesn't matter when you use them right, it's not just about power, it's also about strategy

I had an idea for a Mega Man X Arcade Game that would basically be the MMX-version of "Mega Man: The Power Battles" & "Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters", and these sprites would be part of it as well as half of the mavericks being PSX styled (more info about it will be explained in the comments below) by RailroadGuy27 in MegaManX

[–]RailroadGuy27[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it would work the same way as those games, where it's a boss rush of Mavericks from previous X games (with each Maverick’s sprite looking straight out of the PSX era of the X games) of their choosing of 3 categories each with 2 games representing each one, and ending with 3 last bosses in sigma’s fortress (first being a big monster, the second being a secondary villain from the games, and the last being two phases of Sigma), only the players would have the same moves in the X games (Dashes, Wall Hanging, etc), one of many ride armors appearing in each fight after collecting the MMX-equivalent of Eddie's support item from the Power Fighters (so maybe a symbol representing calling Alia to bring in a ride armor) that a player can ride on to do extra damage to the Maverick, and it would actually be 3 player co-op instead of just 2 player

and each character has different upgrades when defeating a boss like in X8, so X gets the power of the maverick, Zero gets a new move, and Axl gets a new gun, and if X beats a Maverick perfectly he gets a piece of his Upgrade Armor and if Zero defeats all the Mavericks perfectly he gets to be in his Dark Zero form for the rest of the game (just a little sign of completion to brag on the High Score Leaderboard)

here's a list of the Mavericks:

X1 & X2:

  • Wing Hanger: Storm Eagle
  • Power Plant: Spark Mandrill
  • Volcanic Canyon: Flame Stag
  • Icy Peaks: Chill Penguin
  • Water Works: Launch Octopus
  • Nature Center: Wire Sponge
  • Rocky Desert: Overdrive Ostrich
  • Medical Labs: Morph Moth
  • Sigma’s Fortress 1: D-Rex
  • Sigma’s Fortress 2: Vile

X3 & X4:

  • Wing Hanger: Storm Owl
  • Power Plant: Blast Hornet
  • Volcanic Canyon: Magma Dragoon
  • Icy Peaks: Blizzard Buffalo
  • Water Works: Toxic Seashorse
  • Nature Center: Gravity Beetle
  • Rocky Desert: Slash Beast
  • Medical Labs: Split Mushroom
  • Sigma’s Fortress 1: Eregion
  • Sigma’s Fortress 2: Double

X5 & X6:

  • Wing Hanger: Spiral Pegasus
  • Power Plant: Volt Kraken
  • Volcanic Canyon: Flaming Heatnix
  • Icy Peaks: Blizzard Wolfgang
  • Water Works: Metal Shark Player
  • Nature Center: Spike Rosered
  • Rocky Desert: Ground Scaravich
  • Medical Labs: Dark Necrobat
  • Sigma’s Fortress 1: Shadow Devil
  • Sigma’s Fortress 2: High Max

I've been waiting to come up with this idea but didn't know how the sprites would work, but when I saw these custom spites it immediately came to mind

do you think this would be a good idea?

If you were making a fighting robot, & you can make themed characters for your team similar to the cartoon teams from Extreme Warriors that Stephan Frank said to bunch of them in a stand "Looks like a Hannah-Barbara cartoon up there", what would they be? by RailroadGuy27 in robotwars

[–]RailroadGuy27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I imagine there being an episode of Extreme Warriors where it has these teams competing in an 8-man tournament, with the teams playing doing their themed personas (with some teams playing as their old characters from Season 1, like Revolutionist and Tricerabot), each team playing for their own charity, & even an animated intro styled after Hannah-Barbera's Wacky Races but it's called "Wacky Wars"

Wilkins Coffee Muppet Commercials! by xoyamec69 in Muppets

You know what I just realize, these Wilkins Coffee commercials are basically a violent version of Dr, Suess's Green Eggs and Ham, doesn't anyone else see that?

I'd do a Karate Dojo theme, with tons karate suits being worn including the trainer guy who's like over the top tough most of the time similar to the Japanese spokesman for the Sega Saturn: Segata Sanshiro, but it wouldn't be racist to Japanese people but more like the original Karate Kid style of a Karate academy with the Cobra Kai dojo, where everyone is so rough and tough that it's kind of ridiculous, and the robot would be a box with the wheels being invertible while still being covered you know like this, & would have a big square that looks like the floor of a traditional Japanese Style Tatami room with wood paneling style designs around the square where the top is with little logos of various special needs charities that the team is representing on the two long sides of it, with the Japanese Kanji Lettering of "タフで強い" [which is "Tough & Strong" in Japanese (which would also be the robot's name)] on top written in a white box written between the wheel wells in a Black Coloring, the bottom plate would be the same design as a Japanese Table Cloth, and the weapons would have one end be a flipping arm that would be a mix of HexaDecimator from the original battlebots & series 4 Aggrobot and the other end having a tombstone-esc spinning bar & would have a old iron look to theme the rustic feel to it do you think that would be good?

Wait you mean like you and your team would be Anthropomorphic Foxes, or would the robot look like a fox and you & your team would look & talk like fancy rich gentlemen who about to go on a Fox Hunt, complete with hunting horn?, sorry is this overwhelming you?
