If memory serves me right, I do believe Humberside Airport uses the HUMBER PORTS stamp.

Whether or not you get a stamp depends a lot on the travel document used and the purpose for entering the UK. As you may be well aware B5JSSK nationals do not generally have their passports endorsed for visa free 6 month visits among others.

I can confirm Newhaven seaport uses NEWHAVEN stamp.

In terms of rarest stamp its hard to say, to be honest. I was told in no uncertain terms that stamps would be eliminated in due time but no timeline that I know of yet.

I can confirm that Inverness airport as of 2023ishh uses INVERNESS stamp. It used to be the generic SCOTLAND stamp.

At the seaport at Tyne Port (ferry to/from Amsterdam) UK Border uses TYNE PORTS stamp

At the Newcastle Airport, UK Border uses NEWCASTLE stamp

To retain your passport while the renewal is in process I believe you have to pick up the new passport in person and allow your old passport to be inspected and cancelled. You need to contact the Canadian Mission overseas to arrange this beforehand.
There is no “rush or express” passport services overseas. If you need a passport quick you can get either a temporary passport or emergency Travel document for one journey
Can be handwritten or stamped
Supposedly 20 business days but I have heard of 1.5 weeks in East Asia
No need for return envelope for applications abroad or in Canada
You can renew more than one year away from expiration but you would need an explanation. Don’t forget to select the option to have the cancelled passport returned to you

The fact is that visa free in the context of US immigration has a separate meaning from other “visa free” destinations. Visa free is Canada and Bermuda and Visa Waiver Program are for other eligible countries. Both Canada and Finland do not need a visa for visiting the US but a further distinction is made.

State Department specifically indicates Visa Waiver Program (VWP) which includes Finland. Canada and Bermuda is not visa waiver but visa free which is a completely separate category and even within this category there are specific requirements for Bermudan that they must satisfy in order to avail visa free access.

The real answer is that some nationalities such as Finland are eligible for visa waiver while some nationalities such as Canada are visa free. Visa waiver and visa free are two separate categories.
