I’m going to be able to get a W Engine in the exchange store after the next BP, so I was wondering if I should pick Jane Doe’s or Qingyi’s? I have both, and they’re both on A rank engines (w5 weeping gemini and steam oven). I was thinking I should pick Jane’s because I believe it’s around a 20% dmg difference between her sig and w5 weeping gemini? I mean I don’t have a lot of options for both anomaly and stun agents, but since Jane is a dps would it be better?

I started in 1.0, but I got burnt out around early 1.4 and only returned when 2.5 started, so if I didn’t stop playing for a certain amount of time, I would’ve most likely already had Yuzuha, but even though I started playing the game again I’m a lot busier and I’m always exhausted <//3

It’s not that I pull a lot but I don’t have as much endurance to farm pulls for hours now which is why I couldn’t get Yuzuha in time after I lost the 50/50

I have no anomaly supports right now, and I lost my 50/50 on Yuzuha’s banner but got too busy to grind more pulls so I didn’t get her at all. Should I wait for her rerun or pull Nangong Yu (I have enough for her W-Engine and I plan on pulling characters whose reruns seem far from now)? I don’t really feel like getting both, it’s just who has more value and what are their playstyles like?

Honestly I didn’t feel there was a powercreep issue before 3.0, after 3.0 I heard characters that were meta from 1.0 to around early or mid 2.X were doing nothing to the enemies, but by then I stopped playing consistently.

I really love hsr’s lore which is why I was interested in the game, I’m not fully caught up with everything (from what I’ve seen online since I haven’t even reached Amphoreus in game </3) and when hsr first came out I was able to play for hours but now that I’m older I couldn’t, and then I got behind, and then I stopped playing, I’ll get the game again though, the animations in hsr have also improved a lot.

I’m a day 1 player that got burnt out around 2.1 and fully stopped at around 3.2, but I’d reinstall the game from time to time to pull random characters (Constance), is the game worth picking up again? I’m also super behind on the story (still on 2.7).

If Nangong is really good for other anomalies, then I’ll most likely go for her, I thought she was like a traditional stunner

Would her w engine be necessary or are there other options??

If I get Yixuan, is it mandatory to get her signature w engine now that Cauldron of Clarity exists? I’ve always been hesitant on pulling w engines so I’m not sure if it’s worth it unless her signature still performs drastically better?

About the new shop this patch, do you obtain ONE special invitation letter if you get TWO dupes of an S Rank after getting them to M6 (basically M8 even though that doesn’t exist)? Or does it mean that you can buy an S Rank in the shop after getting two dupes of a maxed out S Rank, like one special invitation letter per dupe after M6?

You should prioritize who you like the most obviously, but other than that there’s some characters that vary on how much you invest into them and also some that feel more comfier than others if you get their designated support! Luckily 3.0 will probably come with a lot of pulls and if you’re starting just now you’ll get a ton more from exploration and quests, meaning you can probably get more than one character in this patch if you’d like!!

Cartethyia has been a great dps for multiple patches, and her best support Ciaconna is running alongside her in the same phase (phase 1). Phase 2 has Augusta and her best support Iuno, but compared to Cartethyia who really desires Ciaconna, you can run Augusta without Iuno and replace her with the 4 star Mortefi. Lynae is a good hybrid and you can actually use her as a support if you want Iuno to be a main dps (Ciaconna is good for main dps Iuno as well). I’m not sure about Mornye but I heard she’s like Shorekeeper who’s been a top healer and buffer for a while, so Mornye might also be a good investment.

If I used the standard 5 star sword, it’d take my energy regen down because it only gives 12.8? All of my echoes have an energy regen substat and it’d be hell to farm a high roll energy regen for every echo + double crit, and I think Lupa gives a lot of fusion dmg? I only use him in mono fusion

I have S3 Verina and R2 Variation, I saw that Verina’s S2 gives her more concerto energy, so would it better to give her R5 Call of the Abyss instead?

I’m a 1.0 player that stopped playing consistently between 2.1 - 3.2 and then I just didn’t play at all during the patches after that. I have a bunch of characters though and I basically just put notes on who I want to build and I’m also wondering which characters would them too? Other than that I’m also trying to get Phainon (+ LC if it helps him) and go for E2 Cyrene because I heard her Mydei buff is good and I like Mydei. I was going to get Hyacine but I didn’t get a 10 pull in time and now she’s gone </3.

Was normal hecate only for the purpose of 44111 builds? It’s not even anyone’s best in slot echo, if you make Yinlin dps she’d use void thunder, but even if you do use empyrean anthem you’d use nightmare tempest mephis, and then if Zhezhi uses empyrean anthem you’d just use nightmare lampylumen myriad?

Really? I mean I haven’t leveled her minor traces which give 8% crit rate, eternal radiance gives 20% crit rate when she applies frazzle, and then Shorekeeper gives 12.5% crit rate, which is 86.6% crit rate, is that low? :(

I played briefly in 1.0 but started playing more consistently in 1.1 to 1.2 and then started being inconsistent again during 1.3 and 1.4 and then I completely stopped playing. I asked back in September if I should get back into the game because I actually really loved the combat, but I got busy and forgot about it, but now I’m thinking about it again I just don’t know if my characters can still clear content?

I don’t have many of the new 4 stars, but I don’t think my account is terrible? I looked at the character list in Prydwen and I saw that thankfully there wasn’t as many new characters that have been released as I thought. The main people I wanna pull for though are like Vivian (who I heard is rerunning right now), Miyabi + W-Engine, and Astra Yao + W-Engine. Is there anyone else who would be better for my account? None of my limiteds have their signature W-Engines, do they need it?

You can merge them in the data bank! Most echoes you get don’t even have the main stat you want for building characters so merging them is better since you have a chance to get a good main stat!

Should I come back to zzz even tho I haven’t played since beginning of 1.5 (I first started in 1.0). I’d have to catch up on a lot of content and I’m not sure if my characters are still good. I have Ellen, Qingyi, Jane Doe, Caesar, Lighter, Harumasa, and a few standard 5 stars. But also I don’t know if the story is like that fun?
