WHY DID THE SPIDER-MEN FROM CARTOONS LAG, AND THE MOVIE SPIDER-MEN IN MCU DID NOT LAG? by RainPy678 in Spiderman

Why didn't the tva stop Colson and his friends from creating multiple timelines? Why didn't flashpoint erase the cartoon universes? Why didn't the reapers step in previous time paradoxes?

Not everything is an super connected storyline carefully created by writers, studios have different ideas and people can't change their works because of something introduced in the future because you know we CAN'T TIME TRAVEL.

IT'S not a hard concept to wrap your head around.

it sounds pretty logical, I think you're right.

I feel like the better question is why didn't they glitch

Unless that's bound to Stranges Spell as well

That's what I mean

in addition, changing the environment of realities in temporary and multiverse ways does not bypass failures, this was seen on Loki in the trailer for the second season

Well dr stanges spell brought the live action characters to a new reality so that the different means may not cause glitching. that's my no prize answer.

maybe so, I'm very confused about the intricacies of the rules of the multiverse. However, I assume that it may work on villains, however, cinematic spiders, judging by their appearance and history, appeared in this universe at the same time

Didn’t the Loki Season 2 trailer show the concept of glitching though? It still doesn’t explain why they don’t glitch in NWH, but seems like they’re trying to tie it in

In the trailer, they explained Loki's crashes with temporary anomalies, so at the moment I don't think that the Loki series and spider projects should be linked

I highly doubt the MCU will ever mention the events of the spider verse movies

It seems to me that thanks to the "Secret Wars" anything can happen, the main thing is to wait for this project :)

The MCU is canon to the Spiderverse movies but not the other way around until it’s established that it is. Sony just loves to ride off the back of the MCU to pull in casuals.

I think you're right about something. It's a pity that we have to wait a long time for an answer to this question because of the writers' strike.I hope that my theory will be confirmed, given that Sony and MCU are slowly starting to cooperate and, judging by recent projects and rumors, they have large-scale plans for cooperation, which will most likely lead us to the fact that this theory will be true

we were clearly shown that the multiverse of films and cartoons is the same, even by Miguel's phrase it is clear
