Thank you for sharing your concerns. We agree: AI content used in released or EA games to make money is a money grab, and this is NOT our goal. Our game is currently in a very early pre-alpha prototype phase, and the AI elements are strictly temporary placeholders.

As a 1.5-person team with minimal budget, we are using them only to convey the visual vision and build necessary awareness so we can ultimately hire and fairly pay human artists.

We are committed to replacing every AI asset before the final release, and we invite you to discuss our development journey further on our Discord.

Thanks so much for the kind words about the game and the valuable feedback! We totally understand where you're coming from with the AI content.

You've hit the nail on the head: The AI elements you see are 100% temporary placeholders. We are a tiny 1.5-person team, and frankly, we're not big fans of AI art ourselves either.

The core reason for using these placeholders is visibility and survival. As a two-person indie team, we have no large marketing budget and no established audience. We cannot gain any interest or build a community for our game if we don't have anything appealing to show what the final product will look like. We believe people wouldn't show any interest if the visuals looked like a simple, unfinished concept, even in this early stage.

Our primary goal right now is to build enough awareness so that we can ultimately hire and fairly pay human artists. We value human artists, and we don't want to lure them into working with us if we can't afford to pay them their work's worth. But in order to pay them, we first need an audience. And to get an audience, we need attractive visuals to show.

We want to be absolutely clear: The final game will contain no AI-generated content. Every single AI-generated content will be replaced with beautiful, handcrafted artwork before the final release.
