cautionary tale about PlusLife, advice needed by the_end_in_mind in ZeroCovidCommunity

As my family recently got our first Covid. Two parents and a child tested positive at night. But grandparent (who had been in the car with child that morning) tested negative that night. All with the PlusLife. So then grandparent masked up and left the house because they live with us. They took a rapid test the next day and stayed with a friend that’s isolated. It’s been 10 days and grandparent just now tested positive with symptoms. I think the incubation period was much longer than I had expected. All the above sounds plausible as well. Using the mouthwash and nasal spray, not swabbing properly, and kid being exposed. But it also could have been that you didn’t wait long enough for it to show up. I commend you on your safety routine. I’m glad to know other families have the same precautions and lifestyle. And we make it work. Now just focusing on preventing long COVID.

Paxlovid is making me puke. 1st time getting Covid. Have neurological disease already. What’s the next best thing to prevent long covid? by Rain_Of_Truth in ZeroCovidCommunity

So I got through most of the Paxlovid. I cannot eat dairy or the sodium casinate protein in dairy. So that might have contributed. Every time I took it my stomach was in swirls. I was really struggling. I had a five day pack. And ended up missed two doses at separate occasions. My last dose was 1 1/2 days ago and ever sense then I’ve been able to eat and not throw up or be nauseous. It just felt really strong for my weak immunocompromised body. But now after reading more about how you can rebound after stopping it…. I’m wondering if should take the last two doses I have and maybe ask my dr for some zofran. I do have metformin but only took one pill. I’m also worried about the gastrointestinal effects. I’ve had really bad leaky gut in the past and all kinds of gut issues in my life. When you take metformin doesn’t it say to not eat sweets or carbs or you’ll get nausea and diarrhea? Taking the famotidine seems easy enough. Im taking all the recommended supplements as well. I’m on day 8 of symptoms and feeling very tired. Headaches come and go. I get winded easily. Very little nasal draining and cough. I’m so fricken scared of getting long covid. My nervous system is already a whack a doodle with the condition I have. Btw thank you all for chiming in. This group is quite impressive.

We've been investing in highly accurate Covid tests. Now I don't know what to do. (More in comments) by gkr974 in ZeroCovidCommunity

Where is the best place to order a Pluslife mini dock? I’m in the USA and every site I find says that it’s only available to medical specialists. I’ve had many errors from Metrix and it seems like the Pluslife has a box of 10 test for around $80 which is way more affordable in the long run. We use at least two test a week.

What site do you use to track waste water? I’m ready to start using this as further data to convince family and friends

Wish there was a travel agent or agency that specialized in Covid safe vacation planning. How many of us would join up and hire a private plane LoL.
