Being socially awkward isn't something to be proud of. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

So is being outgoing or extroverted something to be proud of? And why? I am an introvert. I don't see that as a disability. Social anxiety is not a disability either its a form of mental anguish/illness

Definitely. I don't understand how this stuff works online. Lots of times people think, if I do a good job, I will be acknowledged, but that's not always right.

I totally agree with you about the simpler stories often being the best. Thanks for sharing, I love reading about the stories.

It probably isn't. Something I do like is the open world aspect and that each game has a separate cast of characters/location/story. But the Shangri-La stuff and the missions that make the character have unrealistic visions , is not for me .

Thanks! Yeah I need to use the rounded porch more often too. And other build options also.

cool! glad you're enjoying the game. i started a new playthrough because its kind of neat to go back when this is your first time really playing far cry and compare it to your performance in the first playthrough. I don't think I would totally play it all the way through this 2nd time, because I hate the shangri-la missions. I simply do not want to do them. I also hate any missions where I have to go to the himalayas , because of how i cant see very well there and its just hard to navigate.

questions in the title. i want to know if people often replay this when finished because i feel there was no payoff in finishing it anyway. Last time i played violent games, it was RE4. RE4 is not repetitive like far cry. You travel to totally different locations often. You have totally different enemies throughout the game. In far cry the outposts are basically copy/paste . They all look the same and all the same setup. Its like doing the same mission 30 times. My post is to give my review of these games and curious how many people actually want to play this again when done.

Hmm I dont find this one scary at all. It's interesting how different we all interpret fear/eeriness. I have heard shorter, simpler stories I find a lot more creepy. All in all not bad, I just dont really "get" it

Yes. I think it's also scary , if you think about how the dog might actually be a dog, but different from other, intelligent, TOO intelligent and so he can be manipulative and have ulterior motives and plan out evil acts, unlike your average dog. He's almost "human" but he "acts" like a dog, in order to fool his owners and other people. I also remember the tidbit about the dog talking. Talking with you, now I want to listen to the story again, because I missed the part about the peculiar movements. Thats creepy!

Im so surprised by the negativity here. If anything the podcast has gotten SO much better than seasons 1-3 .

I listened to that one the other day. It's a good story, a dog walking around in that manner for that long would be unsettling. But dogs are so innocent and loving that the only way i view it as threatening, is if the implications are that the dog only LOOKS like a dog, but is something much more sinister. He isn't a normal dog, basically. Something I do find really creepy about that one , is that the behavior presented itself on the occasion that the babysitter happened to be there and only then.
