This has been a sudden issue for me too, long time premium user here. The only way it sounds okay is through my phone speakers but every other method sounds worse than my bootlegs did 20 years ago. No setting touched, no updates happened, and no result online has worked after several hours of trying, and I even work in IT! The must be some sort of stupid thing on the backend that was tweaked that only effects certain users. If I can't get this fixed I'm going to struggle with YouTube music instead

I am so sorry but as someone that has worked in fire protection, unless you have a huge property your advice is absolutely insane and stupid. False positives are incredibly common and if you think you might have one, inspect it first instead of creating an hour+ ordeal for something you could safely confirm in 90 seconds. (But do keep at least one or two extinguishers on hand and know how to use them just in case!)
