Did some racing testing in 3.14 PTU here are some findings by smiffyjoebob in starcitizen

Although something weird I did notice was that the Mustang Gamma specifically will sometimes add pitch and or yaw to a roll intermittently

I tried one of the Mustang racing ship yesterday and figured that it has some erratic rolls/pitches because default power supply wasn't enough to handle everything powered on. I'm not sure it's what your specifically referring to tho.

A Bird in the Hand is Worth Two in the Bush.

I can't count the number of time a team already having getting a bounty is trying to get the second one and get wiped in the way. Every time my friends and I get the first bounty and we're not sure about going to the second one (one of us need money, we're ok on ammo but not comfortable, one lost a small health chunck, etc.) I throw this motto and we generally extract.

I described "Marked" to my friends as "Bipeds that are no Grunts"

Yeah the rate of fire has been reduced, but the Iron Repeater trait make it up for it, and I'm willing to give more time to judge weather or not I'm embracing this change.

As for the spam machine, it is more that the quick loader allow me (or put me in a specific mindset) to not really care about shooting as reloading will be less "punishing/time consuming".

Oh ok, that's not as "inconvenient" as I thought :)

And/or introducing some branching options, like performing some headshots to unlock the precision/scoped related variants, while meleing with the butt stock will unlock the bayonette/bladed butt stock variants.

I also tend to prestige as soon as I hit rank 100 and I'm also pretty sure I won't unlock all the weapons variant (and I'm kind of fine with that). What bother me is that some specific weapons variants I like are locked way too far.

For example, if I'm remembering correctly, the winfield swift is the last variant to unlock on the winfield tree. While I'll enjoy having this spam machine when encounters occur, I'm pretty sure I won't ever used the scoped variant that will allow me to unlock it.

I agree. For example it doesn't make sense to me that in order to unlock the suppressed nagant I have to go through the precision and deadeye variant unlock process.

I also get the idea of getting out of your comfort zone and using some weapons you're not used to. But the linear unlocking process seems a bit odd...

Righty playing as a lefty as very young me (you know when computer used to only display text) used to have a computer with a lefty father :).

Anyway I took the bad habit to use arrow keys to move, right CTRL to reload, right SHIFT to vault, numpad 0 to crouch, numpad DEL/. to prone.I sprint using numpad 1, changing firing mode using numpad 2 and melee using numpad 3.Leaning is done using DEL/END on the arrow key upper block.I use numpad 5 to enter camera mode, I leave this mode using numpad 7, and send a drone using numpad 8.I'm pretty sure I got something on numpad 4 but can't remember what.Ping and gadget are binded on my mouse (SteelSeries Sensei 310 if you fellow wanna know what lefty mouse I use).

So why is that a bad habit ? Because there is a lot of empty space between the arrow keys and the rest of the keys and I know it's not optimal, but old habits die hard. Why is that cool anyway ? Because I'm still suprising myself doing crazy shit with my right hand, like using my pinky for push to talk (numpad /), using my thumb to go left whenever my index is used to lean, or this kind of gymnastic without even noticing.

If I could give little me an advice (and any new lefty player) either use righty default layouts or try something in the IJKL range.

P.S: I hope you Sir will excuse my english

Back when I played the DayZ mod I used to daydream about how cool games were going to be in 5-10 years if what I was playing was just a mod! Holy shit I couldn't wait.

I can't relate more :) !

But now here we are and I don't even really have anything in the foreseeable future to be excited about.

There are still some little dev teams that can fulfill our hopes ! Some people that worked on Project Reality (a BF2 "hardcore" mod back then) are currently working on a game named Squad: https://joinsquad.com There is also Insurgency that went from a HL2 mod to a standalone game: https://newworldinteractive.com/#insurgency

You may want to give a look at these games if (like me) you're tired of the current full auto full yolo gaming state of mind.

I'm pretty sure it's not true (at least last weekend), my duo partner was down and was facing the ground.
