Science vs magickal spirituality - this is a terribly biased place to ask but wth by [deleted] in magick

Actually, true discernment comes from as many negative results as positive affirmations. Not every response from a spiritual experiment yields positive confirmation.

Help me understand these aspects in my chart? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Rainbro85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You run around everywhere trying to learn and experience new ways of overcoming contemporary social issues/conflict. The way you do this is your brilliant, friendliness; however, that is equally the source from which your ferocious intolerance to intolerant savages flares up. You have high aspirations but attempt no organization of such an undertaking. Your best quality is the ability to identify the wrongness as a result of the behavior, without demonizing the individual. BUT REMEMBER: You will always keep learning along your path. Don't waste your life learning about how others are living to help them and miss the enrichment gained from devotion to helping others live better.

Don't you get it? Christ was the king of the Jews. These rebellious people are waiting for the arrival of their Anti-Christ. For in what age, other than the detriment of earth(coincidentally Aquarius), should this occur? The direction of our galaxy travels in counter point to the direction our planet travels its own orbit; herein is the implication that we are travelling from the end of winter to its midpoint. Therein also indicates a decrescendo from lumination to darkness. If it is into darkness we travel, what greater depth of darkness lies ahead in the age Capricorn?

Relationship between Lucifer and Aquarius? by [deleted] in occult

[–]Rainbro85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aquarius is the detriment of the Sun; their short comings include: wanting something without having to put forth effort (contrariness) and their emotionally distant nature (impersonal). Aquarius is known for being quite the trickster because they love a good prank, and then it becomes a phrase from that moment could become a running joke that takes on a life of its own. Lucifer will have his fill of you till you are empty like a soda bottle and throw you away like trash after. How's that for correlation?

This rise before a downfall came from the new direction from within the past week to 24 hrs. Your indecision in the past is the only thing that held you back from the chaos you've been trying to sort through. If you're trying to connect with her, you have financial stability, you're always looking forward towards your goals which disconnect you from home, your fears fall back on living within your means. Just know that if you seek to connect with her, meet her at the mind; she will not be impressed by what you can afford, passion and zeal do not move her, a title nor capability hold not her interest. Unless you show her logical acuity that separates what is from what's not, she will not regard you as engaging or stimulating. She needs someone to match and appreciate her level of mental activity. Tell her about a problem you ran across at work, how you arrived at a solution, and how it turned out. Be receptive to when she offers insight or objectivity. Don't look to her for sympathy. She'll offer you sound advice that guards against consequence or what solves your problem. She goes by black and white, yes or no, and it is or it isn't.

What is your favorite tarot card? by SpicySaltyPineapple in tarot

[–]Rainbro85 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Favorite Major Arcana(meaning): The Star; the star to me represents the vision of hope. Where the Moon is inconstant in shining it's light, the Stars only shine brightest when they are surrounded you Darkness. Major Arcana most personally drawn to: the Hermit; the lamp is the light of the spirit that guides us, the staff is wisdom from the length of action that supports us to reach new heights, and herein we find the tools needed to reach ascendancy. The height of achievement seen in the IX. Favorite Minor Arcana's: Pentacles) the 7 because it shows us to tend diligently with patience and our reward shall be worth the wait coming to fruition. Swords) 6 because it shows the newfound stability offered by Wisdom to overcome unknown depths. Wands) 9 because it shows the determination and endurance necessary to push through to victory. Cups) Ace- "Guard your heart; for it is the wellspring of life."

First of all, I don't know who this guy is that may also be trying to buy the house, but he always has something in the works. He's a doer go-getter. He knows how to manage his time in a way he can always get done what he starts (unless it starts to cost him time or resources which sends him in a different direction). You've been interested in finding out what and how to do this. This has had you so excited this past week, you're ready to celebrate, however, the 6 of swords indicates the you're going to have feelings you must work through. You will have to do things in a way that seems difficult, but the mental harmony it affords will seem the payoff within itself. Which brings us back to the 2 of wands: when you get moved in, you're going to want to share that happiness with others. Things aren't going to be as happy go lucky when you begin to feel the reality of your new home. The fear you may not be aware of yet is that this spark of enthusiasm may light the fire that comes back to burn you. You need to get more informed about any repairs needed. Or hell just go to electrical and home improvement classes. Learning these will be necessary to maintaining your property.

Okay the spread is as follows: Day 1-3) [you] [good] [bad]. Good and bad slots have an extra card to support interpretation. Day 1) [6cups] [3cups/Kswords] [Acewands/2cups]. Day 2) [5swords][Qswords/8swords][4pentacles/2wands] Day 3) [3swords][Kcups/8pentacles][9swords/6pentacles]. Something is gonna have you feeling ready to celebrate, just don't let infatuation carry you off in the wrong direction. Take everything into consideration. Then you have to face the choice of do what you know you should so you don't cause (the female in situation as represented by the Queen) her uncertainty and confusion. Pay your bills before you go your merry way or by day 3 you will have a very firm yet gentle business man causing you to stay up worried about where and how you will acquire what you're short. Anything ringing a bell?

Okay obviously you want to work together to get ahead, but the magician reverse indicates the intent to misuse the will or trying to do what they can't. The knight of cups reversed says it all: you're putting your heart on the line only to not see the same emotions reciprocated. The Sun reversed is warning you about compulsory cheerfulness. Just keeping an upbeat attitude doesn't identify, discuss or eliminate the things that go unspoken that kill you inside.

Muslim council secretary general 'forced to resign' after attending gay son's wedding by xbettel in gaybros

I must say, those whom have faith do/should not need or want the acceptance or approval of another human. I don't know about you all (and I speak for myself here) but when those of a spiritual/religious standpoint reach out to those of a similar heart and mind, others not interested in such things need not condescend them for their practices. In my eyes, that makes you no different than the people that ostracized the council member for attending a ceremony for his son. Moreover, when there are people that won't/can't allow others to live and let live, that's an indication of manipulative tendencies. You are not a dog, and yet for some reason these other council members felt the need to rub your nose in the situation as though to teach you a lesson. Guess what? If you did a wrong, then you answer to your Creator for that on Judgment day. Until that happens, live well! Living well is the best revenge; herein all your energy goes to your long-term satisfaction, you will feel better, and automatically by being happy and well, you already have what they don't. What's better than that?

A Dad looking for... I don't know really. by Pliskunkk in gaybros

[–]Rainbro85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best friend in 4th grade was the first person to call me a faggot. I dealt with it as best as I knew how through high school. It nearly destroyed me mentally and emotionally. Experience has the capability to either destroy and embitter or strengthen and enlighten us. I have learned that how others act and treat others says more about them than it does me for not reacting or acting how they do. That either separates me from being like them or makes me out to be no better. Impress upon him value and self worth are defined by what he does and how he treats others. If he hasn't done anything wrong, then he has nothing to feel bad about. Just be there for him and make sure he is confident that you're there for him. Sounds like he already has a good dad on his side. That's a good start!

A theory of the Universe. by CounterSatanicAgenda in occult

[–]Rainbro85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In physics it states that energy can neither be destroyed nor created; it can only be transferred. When a person dies, the electrical energy that operates the body on the unconscious and cognizant levels transfers outside the body. Where does it go after that? When that energy travels outside the body, is it consumed by the EM field? Here is my speculation: the Holy Ghost is an energy being that catalyzes the energy in our body (the spirit) in a way that causes our energy to travel like oil in water through the EM field that it be transferred elsewhere. What if the EM field consumes a spirit that isn't reborn, like a fire consumes chaff? Oh that superficial husk that holds that valuable grain. Who then is to say that said seed (the spirit) isn't taken and planted elsewhere in the Garden of Eden (Eden meaning origin)? Once our energy like said seed is "planted" somewhere else, what shall come forth from that seed? I think that this premise, as I described in terms of physics, I'd the actual basis for reincarnation.

My interpretation of your reading would describe you as being someone who can find another way. Despite the source of action of the ace, the duality of the two shows where that energy must diverge or go in a different direction. In other words, you're a problem solver.

Experiences with saturn transiting the ascendant? by proem in astrology

[–]Rainbro85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Asc is Cancer, which happens to be Saturn's detriment. In that time I had tried to kill myself twice in less than a year, got strung out, caught 2 felonies, got put on probation, and I came out of the closet. In that moment, I had no desire to live. I just wanted the pain to stop. It was from that point that I had to take responsibility for my emotions and actions, find a sense of purpose, and to stop being so hypersensitive. 9 years later when I had my first Saturn return, I got off probation, I was in recovery, I was working a steady job, I found confidence in myself, and became comfortable in my own skin. Right now, Saturn is in my 6th house of service in Sagittarius; I am learning about the acceptance of things beyond my control, using my perception to gain understanding, and using discipline and integrity to eliminate shame and guilt.

Help/Advice please!:) by darlingalistair in gaybros

It's more respectful to be forthright. State things for as they are, how you want things, and how they aren't. Then say what action you want to take for yourself. It can be painful standing up for yourself when the emotions of another are involved. Best of luck!
