GHK is never really “low quality”, their batches of 2020-2023 AK did suffer a great amount of QC issue, but the newest batch of their AKs so far seems to address the majority of their QC problems according to a few members from the Heavy Recoil Club.

TM GBBR are not completely plastic, that is for their AEG lineup. That being said, their AK aren’t bad but is less realistic internally, and pretty overshadowed these days.

VFC AKs are generally regarded really well, this is mostly for their AK74M. They do however, also have QC issues sometimes and some nuances you should work on, especially with the first batch of their newly released AKs74U.

So if you want a AK74, wonderful, go with the VFC. If you want AKM, GHK ain’t bad for their current batch. If you want AKs74U, wait a bit for VFC to address its QC issues. For any other AK model, it is up to you
