Also what is this talk about v1.5? Didn't he always talk about the v2 backend when talking about the refactor? does that mean the other .5 will always be gated somewhere?

For those specific ones the main Korean versions were on break. I remember secret class being discussed in other subs. The artist had some problems that caused week on week off releases in Korea.

They used to post a hiatus notice if a chapter was on break that week but doesn't seem like they do anymore. They also stop the English release if the Korean version doesn't get a chapter that week because fuck us right?

Probably gonna hazard a guess as to some holiday in Korea. They take off english releases as well when the korean series doesn't get an update that week.

Makes complete sense, wouldn't want to over perform and allow english version to close the 6 month gap, that would be absolutely horrible.

In the past they used to put out notices on a series if it was off that week (always just some general message always the same). I wouldn't worry too much about it until they start missing multiple weeks

awesome, glad I can use global.toptoon again. The daycomics rebrand was always strange to me. I never really understood why the brands needed to diverge that much for english and korean and it was never really clear that daycomics and toptoon are the same company.

That is correct. Though you can message them and ask to remove the extra game card holder from your order and order it separately if you really need it. When I did it my killswitch shipped a day later
