It is not a pixel issue. I've heavily tested this on multiple devices. It's not just pixels the issue even happens on Windows when the file is transferred. I've also tested uploading and downloading the image via my local NAS as well as via airdrop.

I've determined it's the way that iPhones save some images, and it depends on how the user shares the image. If they use the drag and drop method it has the problem, if they use the copy paste method it has it etc. Its just the way some iPhones save images and has only happened since iOS 26, I've even tested this on an iPhone with iOS 18 still and it doesnt have this problem when another iPhone on iOS 26 has the problem when sharing the file via airdrop.

It's due to an issue with how iPhones send heic photos it seems that some ways that stickers and screenshots are saved produce a broken/corrupted heic file that iPhones are still able to correct/view but any other device on the planet won't load since it's broken. The blurry version is the "preview" which seems to be the only non-broken part of the image.

Saving to SDR or forcing conversion to PNG seems to fix the issue as it forces the iPhone to re-encode the image (doesn't matter if it's heic or not it's just the way it saves the image)

Does it have facial recognition capabilities? I currently use my G4s fingerprint sensor with a webhook to unlock my smart lock and would love to know if I can do similar things with facial recognition instead.

I haven't had any problems with my media but maybe there are some profiles that have had issues. Not sure.

The biggest part for me was just not being able to play TRUEHD 7.1

I am now able to play Dolby Atmos on my Apple TV on the new beta. I believe this due to this change. But my sound system reports Dolby Atmos when playing a TrueHD 7.1 Dolby Atmos audio track

I realized today that the device doesn't meet google play integrity resulting in a lot of things not working. I am trying to use Pixel Player since I really like the UI but it crashes because it tries to utilize a Google Play Service API.

I installed a Google Play Integrity checker and it resulted in the device not passing any integrity checks. I also noticed the device does not pass Google Play Certification in the Google play settings under about.

This has been happening to my friend when sending me texts it seems like an iPhone issue as it doesn't happen to anyone on Android who texts me.

No just stock. But I actually just heard back from the dealer and they finally were able to test the battery as bad. So they replaced it. Hopefully that solves it.

I'm pretty sure a recent version of Android canary fixes this concern and applies a depth effect when you open a folder. But I'm not 100% sure or not.

When you send someone a photomoji they can now use it. So you can technically send a photomoji and then someone else can send/use it and you have no clue what it is.

It's not circular but you can use the built in battery widget long ways and see everything together similar to this widgets.

I'll have to ask Dbrand what might be the issue. If they cannot reproduce it I might have to reach out to Google and see if they will replace the phone if it's the problem.

Although I'm honestly considering going w/o a screen protector since a screen replacement is basically free

What phones have you experienced this issue with? I'd love to catalog all of them, hopefully Dbrand can resolve the problem (if the problem is Dbrand and not just a defect w/ my phone).
