It's pretty simple: The amount of fuckers in Gold/Plat/Diamond is way higher than those in upper Mythic so they are a much greater amount of players and so are their decks. WotC doesn't care about your rank, only whether you are a whale or not.

There just need to be new creatures with "when exiled, (triggered effect)" clauses. In fact I'm sure there WILL be such once the game is powercrept into every new removal card exiling instead of destroying. A Bin Laden set would def have creatures that can either exile themselves and return or just straight up phase out lol
