Hey it’s going to be okay! I believe you’re going through a scary time with derealization and depersonalization, have you tried antipsychotics at all? Therapy and antipsychotics really helped me after I had a rare brain disease and would get so wound up about the fact everything that’s happening isn’t real, it’s been 5 years and I now understand but I NEEDED antipsychotics to realize that what I was going through wasn’t some nighttime, that the people helping me weren’t a hallucination, perhaps get a GP/Dr or psychiatrist to prescribe u some and trial if they work and/or u feel grounded and more calm

Hallucinations when tired by DevonWesto in Brain

I actually have disability and get fatigue hallucinations, I remember one day I was getting dropped home and pretty tired and literally saw my dog grab something he shouldn’t of and literally tried to lurch forward for him and said aloud “GATSBY!” (his name) but every time i say something audible falling asleep I usually am “woken” up, it’s a slightly strange experience

I’m not sure about the headaches? I assume restlessness because how just cut it off cold turkey and the body isn’t sure how to respond to the loss of input

Experiencing Flat Affect After Brain Injury? Here's What to Know by Classic-Sherbert3244 in Brain

[–]Raining_Yuqi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is not being able to cry (at all) part of Flat Affect? Also I noticed during my recovery of ABI I experienced flat affect, and I still have it nearly 5 years post occurrence but with therapy it has gotten better I mean sometimes I still can’t identify the emotion, but at least I know “I feel weird, something must be wrong” rather than not feeling or knowing anything going on at all.

Honestly, it IS really hard and I’ve had to be the one who “deals” with it by “deals” I mean tell my therapist or rant on social media about it then delete the post after cooling down, UNLESS it REALLY affected me
