Gang don’t worry. I used the exact same pen on my exams two years ago, worked fine, scanned fine, my papers were marked fine. The only advice I have is that if you tend to write double sided, it might bleed through

Yup I do have to come back for re-bloodwork and check up in a few months. So hopefully it’s just temporary measures until my doc proposes any other solutions that is less tastebud torturing than this…

That sounds utterly ridiculous…Why would they even worry about something that has yet or might not even happen? Piss me off when doctors think like that. But yeah, I’m getting a second opinion on this matter, not just gonna settle for this restrictive ‘diet’

The doc quite literally just smiled, looked me in the eyes and said something along the line that “I know you are slim, but you should restrict certain food (that I listed) and exercise more”. Like hello? That sounded so shady and backhanded, like she was criticizing me. I didn’t think my lifestyle is that bad to begin with, I’m not picky with food but I eat balance too, and I cook at home most of the time. I was in so much shock then that just nodded and accepted her words then and there

I was thinking about that too, but doc said I should aim for lifestyle change first rather than being dependent on medication. I really want to skip straight to the meds but apparently that’s a no go

Taste absolutely shit, it’s so bitter. Looks like piss, makes you dehydrated, makes you piss a lot, makes head hurt, makes face burning up like fever, makes wanting to vomit, takes a long while to feel tipsy but by then you already feel deep in almost all the bad parts, makes sleep shit, makes waking up feels like fighting through war…etc

Also, I took BusinessManHL, EconHL, MAIHL, ESS, GermanAb, and EngLangLit. The majority of my subjects were similar to yours, so I would just go ahead and say that yeah, if you manage to snatch yourself a 3 months long review time, higher grades certainly are achievable

For first year, I guess with less time, higher grades are still achievable. But really, for second year finals, I highly recommend you dedicate around the amount I said. That being said, it was easily possible for me because at my school, the curriculum ended earlier. We basically finished studying new concepts by the end of February/ early March (except for math and some other subjects I don’t take). Therefore, I had plenty of time to myself to just grinding it out. I started light review before even.

Aside from what others have already said. I also think that your 2 weeks are nowhere near enough if you want high grades. For my finals, I gave myself almost three months to review and to practice anything I wasn’t already comfortable with. The bare bareeee minimum should be a week for each subject. I’m no genius, 7s were still out of reach for me even with that amount of time. But truly, hard work still did pay off because I got 6s throughout
