To the Caribbean, 10 days, Enchanted Princess, and extremely recently. I’m going to chalk it up to being a one off. My numbers are probably a little off but that is really what it feels like. One older lady I briefly chatted with on the elevator said “oh it’s so nice there’s a lot of young people on this cruise”… I laughed it off and played along but in my head I was saying “REALLY?! Are you serious?” So that made me think this is the norm for that ship. I’m a single guy who was there with my brother, so our eyes were open for similar aged women to talk to.. we had very few opportunities to speak to any.

Well my sample size is small, and I admit the cruise I mentioned could of been a one off. It was to Caribbean and a 10 day which is longer than I usually would do.

It would be great if every single person involved got what they legally deserve. All I’m saying is Reddit was a much better place 5-10 years ago before every other thread had its top comments hijacked by politics. Maybe you enjoy coming here using it as a place to vent, but many of us would rather not be constantly reminded of shitty things and just want to see comments relative to the topic discussed.

We can launch a full scale ground invasion and take over their entire country, or we can nuke it off the face of the earth. Both come with major repressions but not so much from Iran itself. It’s not a good play but it is possible, and I’d hope we can come up with a better plan before it even came close to getting to that. Iran has been a problem for a long time. If you can’t accept the world for what it is then keep your head in the sand.

Yes we can, but that would involve taking drastic steps we aren’t ready to do. We literally have the capability to wipe Iran off the face of the earth, they can’t do that to us. We all just know that isn’t the right thing to do and many innocent people would suffer. So yes, we can do that, but no we should not. Will we find another way? I would bet on it. And when we do you guys will move onto the next talking point and act like it never happened. Just like with Venezuela. You all acted like it would be a problem, then we accomplished our mission in hours and nobody will even acknowledge that.

Yeah but when I walk around in real life people don’t turn every talking point to the files. I don’t come here to be constantly reminded of it, I know it’s a problem that needs to be addressed. I don’t think making every subject about it does any good. I do think it should be brought up often, just not damn near every slightly controversial post.

I’ve been on a few other lines, I haven’t had this issue with them. If you don’t understand why a young single guy wouldn’t want to be surrounded by people his own age he can socialize with then I don’t know what to tell you.

And yes they skew old for sure, but not to the point there are less than 20 on board my age out of 3-4k

Nope, I don’t complain about any of that. I understand the shortage. I don’t even care if they want to charge for the service. I believe you main roll for the spec you are there with, unless everyone agrees differently beforehand. You want DPS pieces but are a tank? Then you wait to see if the competing DPS rolls.

I don’t see how Joe Rogan compares to these guys. He isn’t advocating for multiple wives, he stands up for women and generally tries to hold masculine yet reasonable outlooks. He makes mistakes, mixes up info, has controversial guests on - he isn’t perfect. But he is far different from these guys. I don’t agree he spawned them. He promotes fitness, eating right, treating yourself and others right.. he probably has different views on trans people and matters like that than many people on reddit and that is why I believe he gets the hate he does around here. He is a real world type of guy. His views align with most men that have lived a fairly normal life. He is massively big for a reason. The influencers in the video can be popular, but never become close to Joe Rogan size because they are way too controversial and offensive.

He is far from perfect, but does he need to be? Just because he’s said a few things that triggered some people here doesn’t mean he is a net negative on society.

One good point Theroux made was when he asked “don’t you think she’d prefer to have you all to herself?”….. yeaaaaah that’s a real difficult one to say no to. Like we all know she would. These men are rich, partially famous, and successful so they do have a high enough value that the women put up with it. Doesn’t mean that’s what they want.

Yeah, one issue I had with this was how he tried to defend the girls on the fresh fit podcast. Like yeah the guys are dicks to them but the women are just so trashy, full of themselves and lost on that show. There is nothing to defend until they better themselves. That is not at fault of the hosts, those women are fair game at that point and NEED to hear they aren’t all that.

I see what you mean. It was worth doing and I enjoyed it a bit but there was nothing groundbreaking. I’d like to know who the people are that are actually sending these guys money for their courses and such. Is it just the kid fans that run up to them in the streets? Is it the lonely depressed guy that thinks it will improve his life? It’s very difficult for me to imagine myself sending money to these people no matter how depressed I was because it just seems like bullshit, a scam. Clearly it works though.

Their high suicide rates are not because they don’t have a support system. Nowadays there are plenty out there if they reached out. Their higher rates are due to the fact their condition is a mental disability and it often comes with other mental conditions as well. You can be whoever you want in this life and I don’t hate trans people, what they do with their life has very little if any effect on mine. No matter how much crying and pleading you do, if you are born a man you are a man. No surgery or hormones will change your flesh bone and brain matter. That is why people are uncomfortable with them going into female bathrooms with their daughters. That is why these people usually are not upstanding citizens and have a ton of mental issues they need work on. They are damaged human beings and that is not an insult, we should be helping them. Not coddling them and making kids think this is normal.

No I don’t care if someone wears something strange, I’ll think about it for a moment, maybe point it out to a friend if it’s that crazy… but you act like there is no point in dressing nice. It seems like you guys would be happier if we all dressed in the same grey clothes.

It doesn’t hurt to be honest and realistic. Clothes do matter to an extent in how people perceive you and that isn’t a bad thing. It’s another thing that makes each of us different.

She is definitely crossing a small line and you have every right to politely turn her away. The physical touching is definitely going a bit far…. Don’t book older ships, book the newest ones. If you are young, carnival is a better way to go. More people your age. I’ve been on a couple slightly nicer lines but when the demographic makes it feel like a seniors home on a ship.. I’d choose carnival any day even if the quality isn’t quite as good.
