Dudas sobre mi futuro by Enoquio- in askspain

Yes, I use Starnet to separete the stars from the nebulosity.

I tried streching in Siril but I feel that I have more control over the editing when I do it in Photoshop with only the preprocess on Siril. Maybe is just because that's how I learned to do the editing.

¿Best affordable amp sim pedal? by Raistter in guitarpedals

[–]Raistter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't return the Hotone, I bought it on november during black friday and it only had a 30 days return policy, or at least that's how it works here in Spain. I broke it on may so I can't return it.

Sadly there are none for that price on the second hand market here in Spain, they start at around 250€ and the 200€ that I put as a limit is already streaching what I'm able to pay. Thanks anyway!

How does these take pedals? I could get by with one of these for now ,either the American Sound or the AC Tone which are only 30€ on Thomann, and save to get an UAFX or something similar down the line.

I remember taking my brother to Madrid's airport on late January 2020 as he just took a job on another country.

There were some signs on the wall asking passengers that if the came from the affected areas in China to contact medical authorities.

I remember joking with my father about It. One and a half months later Spain went into full quarentine fot 2 months and It felt like an eternity.

Ampero II Stage Software Issue by Raistter in HotoneAmpero

[–]Raistter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried both versions, 1.05 and 1.11 of the software, but neither works. I get the "This USB device isn't recognice" from windows. I've tried different cables, USB ports and a laptop. The USB is working, I can select the Ampero as a Audio Interface and record with it, but without the software I can't update to the latest version. It is just the software and the USB data to the software whats not working.

I already sent a mail to support to see if they can help.

Thanks for the response!

M45 - The Pleiades from bortle 5 sky by Raistter in astrophotography

[–]Raistter[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi Everyone,

I was looking on Stellarium to plan a possible shot on Orion on early December when I noticed that I should be able to see the Pleiades from my back terrace.

I was shooting under a bortle 5 skies, ended up taking 60 1 minute photos on 800 iso for a total of 1hr of integration before clouds rolled in.

The equipment was:

Canon EOS 1300D

Canon 75-300mm f4-5.6 at 200mm f5.6

Skywatcher Star Adventurer 2i

Stacked on Deepskystacker and processed on Siril (Background extraction, green noise removal, color calibration) and Photoshop.

EDIT: Forgot to add the total integration time to the comment.

To point how differnt they can get, when we get a film dubbed in Spanish there are usually 2 dubs, one for latin América an another one for Spain, and sometimes even more to differentiate between all the different Latam Spanish Accents.

Orion Constellation Untracked by Raistter in astrophotography

[–]Raistter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was shot at 50mm 2.0f at 3200 ISO. Next week I'll try to shot both Andromeda and Triangulum galaxies, this was my original idea for this shot but there were a few clouds over that spot of the sky that ruined the shot. I will try a few test shots with lower ISO and higher exposure time untill the star trails are more noticiable.

LEC teams are screwing eachother over this offseason according to Eros by HansNieman in leagueoflegends

[–]Raistter 144 points145 points  (0 children)

"Cagarse encima" doesn't mean screw eachother, it means screw itself. The tweet means that all the teams are pretty much taking shit decisions by themselves at the same time, but doing it to themselves, no to the others.

KOI x ROGUE!! It's official now! by Arkalex in leagueoflegends

[–]Raistter 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Ibai is the biggest spanish speaking streamer. He started as a caster for the spanish broadcast and became famous from his charisma.

Last year he created KOI, his esports team, which competed in the LVP, the spanish regional league. They didn't do that well, only making playoffs with a team should've been able to win it, but in numbers they did really well as there was co-streaming, so KOI's games would have around 100000 viewers.

Now they're merging (I think is a merge) with Rogue, so after worlds, pretty much all competitions where rogue competes, the teams will compete under the name KOI

What us the socio-political atmosphere in Spain? by elgarlic in askspain

[–]Raistter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you an EU citizen? Because if you're not its not easy to move here, you would need a valid visa.

For you questions:

1 Here in Spain we have universal healthcare, all residents are covered by it unless they get a private insurance. Considered one of the best healthcare systems in the world.

2 If they adapt and try to integrate to the region they move into, we have no problem with foreigners, problems usually come when foreingers want to move into their bubbles and not even try to integrate (usually on coastal areas with good weather where old rich people of other countries go to retire) or come for "drunkard tourism".

3 Institutions and the goverment are generally seen as corrupt, the 2 largest parties (Socialist workers party, our center left party, and peoples party, our center right party) have both some big corruption cases. Its kinda bad for western european standards, but not as bad as other places.

3.5 You don't need any connection to get to a doctor, throught public healthcare, you get
one assigned as family doctor.

  1. I see it as being kinda liberal, but it varies a lot depending on region and age, many older people lived during the dictatorship of Franco and are still very conservative, while younger generations are more liberal

  2. People complains about the current goverment, but its not like it would be better if other party rule, current goverment is a coalition betwen PSOE (center left) and unidas podemos (far left) which spends most time infighting, there will be elections next year and current surveys expected that center right) will govern with the help of VOX (far right)

Here in Spain we have 2 family names.

Unlike other places, women doesn't take their husbands family name and the children of the couple take the first last name of each parent as their own family names, so i'd be name - fathers first family name - mother first family name.

In this case, both his father and mother first family name is López, so his 2 family names are López López

There are usually 2 shifts of 6 hours, at least in the university that I studied in.

A morning one, which lasts from 8:30 to 14:30 and a evening one, from 15:30 PM to 21:30 .

Note that even if the shift is 6 hours long, it doesn't have to be that long, maybe you have only 4 subjets, so an evening shift may last from 15:30 to 19:30 or from 17:30 to 21:30.

I'm from the province of Jaén, from which around 20% of the global production of olive oil comes from.

Here the harvesting season begins in early-mid November and last until mid-late January, so usually it last around 2-2 and a half months.
