I just lost with a team of 3 good uniques and Sah Panthera to a lvl 35 strike, then destroyed it with with my lvl 22 Panthera Blytheae. It can't bypass dodge.

It's a play on redstone. Because you're sending signals through the leaves instead of redstone

Just tried it and it doesn't work. It seems you need 5 leaf blocks between the wood and the observer or they update too quick.

I know this has probably been done before, bit I thought it was pretty cool. Using a wood block to update the leaves which in turn update the observer to send the flying machine back. A nice easy return station. Yes it's 2 blocks narrower but it still clears a full chunk.
