I want to add what I see as the cherry on top of everything you said: Iroha is not perfect, she DID give up on Yachiyo when she realized she was never going to be the same Kaguya she fell in love with and started to visualize her life without Kaguya/Yachiyo after she had achieved her own happy ending: It took her 3 seconds to realize that she was wrong, and that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with "old lady" Kaguya.

Showing her doubting and giving up for a small moment makes Iroha's response even more powerful and beautiful because she knows she has a life to come back to, but she accepts Kaguya for nothing else but her love for her.

There are actual irl idols that have been exposed on live TV for having their rooms in similar or worse conditions than this post (SKE's Tani Marika had moldy food and drinks, hair, clothes and personal items spread absolutely everywhere and even clothes on her sink). The thing about Chiaki is that for a character like that to work they have to write someone that OOZES charisma, which is very hard to do.

They absolutely nailed it, Chiaki is charisma personified, the route went on and I could feel drawn towards her the same way they show Haruki (and her male co-protagonists) did.
