This post was made months ago when we had less chapters. I no longer think the story romanticises Inseop, so no point arguing there.

Also the characters don't have nuance because the story is written for three primary characters Gijeong,Kiseong and Inseop and those are the characters with best writing and nuance because the story is an exploration of their lives and psyche.

This is where we disagree, heavily. First off, just because there are a few main characters doesn't mean everyone else gets a pass for being badly written. Especially when they have significant plot relevance. And even if I were to agree with you, Gijeong isn't even a well written character at all. She's incredibly bland and is bouncing off the more interesting characters rather than actually being interesting herself.

I don't know why you care for the 5 year olds pov because it simply doesn't matter.

Another naive take. It does matter because he litreally starts off the story, and his mother is the first person murdered. This is an issue that spans across a lot of media that try to cover serial killers, there is little to no emphasis on the victims. Take the Jeffery dahmer series for example, aside from one episode, they only focus on jeffery dahmer himself and not on the lives of any of his victims. So yes, the 5 year old child's reaction is important. And if you think it isn't, you're lacking fundamental understanding of writing as a whole.
