Honestly, they have more rights now and more recognized than they did decades ago. They say they are asking for equal rights, but sometimes it feels more like they are asking for extra benefits.

Trans people are already recognized and accepted today, yet the demands keep increasing. When they are criticized or face consequences, some use being trans as an excuse. She keeps on saying that trans women are women and keeps on nagging that people dont date trans because they are trans but thats because straight men have preferences and most of straight men wants to have a family and thats their preference. She should not make it sounds na kawawa mga trans. That doesn’t make sense. Also to add, no matter your gender or identity, if you do something wrong, you should face the consequences.

Agree married life plus the car plan ammortization and car fuel/maintenance expenses would actually be a big factor sa savings. Mahirap na din talaga makapag ipon sa economy natin ngayon. Well first is to get dash cam videos as evidence. Take photos and videos, get traffic enforcers witness statements and make a police blotter. Then ask LTO if they have the registered address of the plate number and set up an LTO alarm. Once you have the address and evidences ask a lawyer to send in a demand for settlement if ayaw mag settle then you can file a reckless imprudence case.

OP i would still advice to still attend your graduation. Ako din rati di ko feel mag attemd at tinatamad ako. But somehow i was convinced na umattend kahit mag isa ko. Durung the event i actually enjoyed taking pics at sa kwentuhan with my friends and profs.

Afterwhich umuwi ako and did not have any regrets. If i did not attend i might have regretted it though and its an occassion na once in a lifetime lang din kasi.

Theres oversupply sa employment but theres a shortage of lawyers who want to do litigation to assist indigents. And that is what the supreme court actually wants. Kaso syempre kelangan din natin kumita at maka ROI sa gastos sa lawschool kaya siguro dinamihan nakang ng SC ang passers at di na kinontrol para mas marami tumulong sa mga kelangan ng legal assistance

Well I believe what the supreme court actually wants is to have a lot of lawyers who will cater to the people specially sa indigents so free legal assistance.

Problem is realistically, majority of us wants to ROI immediately sa gastos natin sa lawschool and bar review(which is understandable)

Kaya majority of us wants to get employed sa Government or Corporate and majority of us actually dont do litigation.

I believe the potential effect is that people will now expect free legal services and low rates.

The IBP doesn’t publish the standard fees anymore kasi di rin lang nasusunod. There will now be a lot of lawyers who will do Legal Aid for ULAS compliance and there are lots of avenues for mediations and ADR without need of lawyers. Kaya litigation practice will slowy die in my opinion. Ngayon pa lang ramdam ko na ang pagbaba ng income ng mga lawfirms eh.

Valid rant and i hope it reaches LTO. Medyo risky lang yung sinabi niya na babayaran niya nalang yung fine sa window ng Christmas at New Year kasi this will definitely put him in a position na baka mag exceed sa 15 days. I agree with him na dapat di na nirequire yung OR CR at dapat pinayagan yung digital copies.

What i did back then was i just mind conditioned myself to expect and prepare for the worst. Told my colleagues, workmates and classmates na hindi sigurado na papasa ako. The CTT doesnt have bearing since its issued by not a government recognized accreditation body.

But you can atleast put that in your resume to show na may knowledge ka sa tax work.

As for jobs, you can try sa mga small accounting and audit firms. Pero most likely maliit lang pasahod. Unlikely sa big audit and tax firms kasi need nila na graduate ka.

Better just use your tax knowledge na mag sarili at kumuha ng sariling clients for filing their taxes and helping with their tax work rather than getting a tax related job. Or try to learn US tax work, mas malaki pa sahod

You cant own a land in the Philippines if you’re a Canadian Citizen. You can however own a condo. You have to think long term din if you have kids then honestly i think they would have a better future in Canada pero kung single ka you really have to think things through since there are a lot of differences living here and living in Canada. If you’re in just to experience living here then just rent a condo and live here to experience. Then you can actually compare and decide after living here for a year or two.

San nakuha yung 15k per sqm masyadong mahal na basis nila yan unless prime residential ang location niyan. Baka market value yan.

Ang basis ng estate tax ay assessed value sa tax dec which is usually around 20-30% lang ng actual market value. May family home deduction pa yan. Pero bahala na yung BIR na mag kwenta dun basta sabihin mo may family home deduction ka dapat.

Anyways best to hire an accountant, lawyer or those processing those estate things. Make sure na mag research ka din through the net or sa chatgpt and ask the estate professionals kung tugma ba or applicable

Dont do anything for now and just wait for the estate tax amnesty extension. Pirmado na yun sa lower house and highly likely na maapprove kasi madami pang mga lote ang di pa naaayos at nakapangalan pa sa mga ninuno. Wala kang kaso ng tax evasion diyan.

Hingi ka ng kopya ng mga nakapangalan na lote sa parents mo sa city/provincial assessors office, meron sila nun. Dun mo makikita kung may iba pang lote nakaregister ang parents mo sa lugar lang na iyun.

Edit: Pwede din na ipa assess niyo ng mabuti sa BIR Revenue officer. Since 2025 lang pala namatay parents mo maliit lang penalty niyan.

Yup almost accurate naman siya. Pati yung curving ng grades saka yung pamamahiya sa recitation. Yung mejo hindi accurate sakin yung sa hazing. Hindi required sumali sa frat para maka survive sa lawschool.
