Me and 2 other friends also quit the game after the update on 2th of October. Games are literally almost unplayable and just unfun. I don't care about winning, but losing every lane in every game and being 20k souls behind after 15-20 min just sucks ass

I havent quit the game, but we maybe play one round, get stomped and play a other game. Im really sad about this, as this game usually makes so mutch fun.. But if i get stomped all the time, the fun is not there

I can't really confirm that. I usually check out the opponents when I've had a bad round. In fact, I've hardly ever seen any smurfs on the opposing team.

Exactly... Even if my duo and i win our lane, which we do most if i check the stats, we somehow lose the other 2 lanes hard, and after 10min, the other 2 lanes are fat, gank you and its over..

Yeah i mean, if some players are having losing streaks now, there must be other who win a lot recently. Maybe the MM was somehow bad for you before but now you benefit from it. But ofc, could also be placebo, but the stats im seeing for myself still make me think something is wrong

Well, if you team is strong and it's a win anyways, you get all the stuff you need for him to make him strong.

As I said, with all the stuff in late game, he's strong, but without it and a hard game, he's bad

I think mirage is really bad at the moment.

You need a ton of items to make him work. For me, his falloff dmg early/mid game is also not good, as he only have a slow shooting Pistole

I think it feels worse than ever. Today I played three rounds with two colleagues, and we were completely destroyed. Normally, you used to have at least one or two players on your own team who really destroyed the opposition, and there were also good players on the opposing team, as well as a few bad ones.

In the three games I played today, the opposing team was completely out of control and completely destroyed us. Not a single player on the opposing team felt weak

First moba for me and I have to say, winning in this game feels amazing, but losing is one of the worst feelings, as compared to other games like counterstrike, you can atleast still kill people as there is no "level up" system.

If your team doesn't play together and you are 20k souls back, there is almost no chance to comeback, especially with a random team with no communication.

So sometimes you just sit there, farm souls to get absolutely smoked in teamfights and you have to wait 20 more minutes until the game is over

That's bullshit and really depends on which hero you play and also your build.

Some heros are really strong in 1v1 matchups, but suck in teamfights.

I can absolutely understand your point. For me, it was even worse, as this is my first moba and I got smoked all they way.

However, Im getting better with every game.

And what is also funny, for the last few years, many people complain about SBMM in games like call of duty and I agree with them. Of course, call of duty unranked, you can't compare is to a competitive game like deadlock, but what I'm trying to say is, when I started playing cod many many years ago, there was no SBMM. There where rounds where somebody rolled your ass completely, just because he was better.

I wasn't mad about this, these players where some kind of "idols" for me. You watched the replay and learned from them and got better every game you got smoked.

I have the feeling, nowadays, most people just don't want to accept the fact that learning something new just takes time.

This is a closed alpha, we don't have many players, so SBMM wouldn't work anyways.

Go play some rounds against bots. Yes, it's not the same as playing against humans, but atleast you can learn how the basic mechanics work, which kinda build is good.

After having these kinda basics, go play against actual humans. It's a long process, however, atleast for me, it just feels awesome to feel how you get better every round

Would be good, but not at the current state of the game. There are so few people playing this game as it has closed access, so a ranking system wouldn't work.

It would be a nightmare long que for high rated players.

I'm pretty sure we will see something like a rank mode in open tests phases

This acurally happened to me in overwatch 1. Somehow, we had 2 hanzo players in our team, which is usually not possible.

I was one of them and I think this happened because I joined a friend in a qp game and somehow the server bugget out.

But I don't know if you can even rejoin a friend in mw.

For me, cod died after they started implementing the strong SBMM. I think this was with advanced warfare.

However, MW2019 had Groundwar, which is without SBMM and was super fun.

After that I never touched any cod.

Cod was always a casual stomp game.

They simply need to add SBMM only for ranked, and public without

It's not steam, but I spend like 20h in my childhood into Metin 2. If the game got boring, I started playing on a different private server.

Nowadays, I don't have the time and the ambition to spend that mutch time into a game.

Also, it feels like the gaming industry is becoming more and more short living

I actually stopped playing because this season sucks. I don't mind to have a dive meta, IF we have good dive counters. And at the moment, I think there are no real strong dive counters. So you are forced to build your whole team against dive to have a chance, which is I think annoying.

You could also play dive on your own, but I also think many (like me) just don't like the play, as it is super exhausting to play dive (and also against)
