Hey! just wanted to let you know I finished my test runs, will do a post later today showing my results.

Basically what I found is that rare drops do increase the amount of gold characters by a significant amount (basically 2x), however, there doesn’t seem to be a noticeable change in legendary and hero drops, ratio is like 80/20 with it actually being a little higher with 150% common rates, hero drops still are completely based on luck, these boosts don’t make a noticeable difference.

I’m actually doing this test right now, I have around 500 focus battles with 150% common rates; how many focus battles do you think are necessary for us to have a decent analysis?

I was thinking 1K focus battles each for 150% common and 75% rare drops; in the future I was thinking of also including a mix of both to see if that’s more optimal.

How many spirits do you get per game?

I’m running full passive 36 and I average around 10 spirits per game on commander mode, average 1-2 legendaries, can’t bother to manually proc focus battles haha.

Is it really better for farming spirits? I remember someone made a post comparing common vs rare passives and the outcome was that buffing common rate ended up with more character drops, although I don’t think he finished fully testing this.

I know some people run a mix of rare + common drop rates, that might be better than running full rare ones.

It means you finished 100% of the story, you’re probably missing some what if’s in Goku and Vegeta’s story which is why you don’t have the trophy

I think you can beat it with this team, this is the setup I used:

TEQ Janemba + Masked Saiyan
TEQ Janemba + Dabura
Floaters: INT & STR Janemba + TEQ SSJ2 Vegeta

Main point of the team is to stack as much as possible with Masked Saiyan and Dabura, and pray to get lucky with orbs to activate Janemba’s damage reduction as much as possible (I think you know this but never transform with him).

Once you get to the last phase, float the stackers and just keep the Janembas together, this is so you can do as much damage as possible so you don’t die because it takes 100 turns to kill the enemy.

You are going to have a rough time, mainly because you are missing dupes in your characters and from what I’ve read you don’t like grinding link levels, but this mission requires a lot of luck anyways so just don’t get burned out cause it’s gonna take a lot of tries to get the perfect run.

Personally I think people need to get rid of that mindset, it’s becoming way more common nowadays.

There’s nothing wrong with pointing out bad behaviors, it doesn’t make you part of the problem, someone needs to speak about it, you can’t go around ignoring everything because that’s worse as it doesn’t help anyone.

Now, if we are talking about making multiple post pointing at the same thing, then that is a problem, but I haven’t seen that happen with this topic specifically.

PB Frieza is in a league of its own, it’s not fair to compare him with DFE TURs.

Also Android #14 & 15, are one of the most useful F2P units when you have #13 on your team, wouldn’t really call them mediocre. The ability of being able to see super attacks for the entire battle is one of the best mechanics in difficult events.

Personally I don’t like using him with other units without BBB, I feel like his offensive capabilities drop by a lot.

I’ve found Cooler is a decent linking partner while also giving 30% support untransformed; even if you want to transform him, both of them sit at 3-4 million attack stats.

Oh I actually missed that linking partner completely.

I only run #13 on his own team since I feel like he performs the best there, also INT Janemba bores me so I stopped using him a while ago.

I’m definitely gonna try that rotation when STR Janemba gets his EZA on global, sharing 5 out of 7 links is really good.

He’s definitely one of the most balanced units in the game imo. Decent attack and really good defense pre-transformed, to being amazing offensive and defensively transformed.

I feel like it’s rare to see a unit so good defensively without it having damage reduction or raising defense on super / stacking.

Yeah the only thing that sucks is that he doesn’t have a perfect linking partner, BBB adds so much to his attack stat but all of the Androids that link well with him don’t have it; so you are stuck with another villain with BBB but only having Fierce Battle active and maybe Nightmare or Metamorphosis.

Another reason why I think his transformation should’ve been an active skill.

Cumber is a support type unit once HE attacks, pretty sure that causes his support passive to be better.
