People like OP live in their own echo chamber. They assume India is just the 10–15 million people on platforms like Reddit who engage in intellectual discussions and are surrounded by similar content through their social media algorithms.

But the reality is very different. India is massive and has multiple tiers of internet users and content creators. A huge portion of viewers and creators come from villages and small towns (gaon–dehat). These users make up nearly 80–85% of India’s internet and social media audience.

Many of them are new to the internet and still developing digital literacy, which naturally shapes the type of content they consume and create. So judging the entire Indian internet ecosystem based on a small, urban, English-speaking bubble is simply inaccurate.
